Code of Conduct

Our pledge

We pledge to make participation in EchoWeave-RTC free from harassment for everyone, regardless of age, body size, disability, ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender identity and expression, experience, education, socioeconomic status, nationality, appearance, race, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

We will act and interact in ways that contribute to an open, welcoming, diverse, inclusive, and healthy community.

Expected behavior

Examples of behavior that contributes to a positive environment include demonstrating empathy, respecting differing viewpoints, giving constructive feedback, accepting responsibility, and focusing on what is best for the community.

Unacceptable behavior includes harassment, sexualized attention, threats, trolling, insults, publishing another person's private information, or using project channels to facilitate impersonation, non-consensual cloning, fraud, or abuse.

Enforcement

Report project-level conduct concerns privately through GitHub private reporting and prefix the title with [Conduct]. Reports will be reviewed confidentially; a maintainer named in a report must not participate in its resolution.

Project maintainers may remove, edit, or reject contributions and may temporarily or permanently ban contributors for behavior they deem inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful. Avoid public reports that would expose a target's private information. Platform-level abuse can be reported through GitHub Support.

Attribution

This policy is adapted from the Contributor Covenant 2.1, licensed under CC BY 4.0. It shortens and combines sections, replaces the enforcement contact, and adds project-specific anti-impersonation, consent, fraud, and privacy rules. See LICENSES/Contributor-Covenant-CC-BY-4.0.txt for attribution details.
