The issue seem to be mostly affecting retrofitted dingbats (e.g. 🗣⚠™) that were incorporated in emoji, where you can use additional vs15 or vs16 (\uFE0E or \uFE0F) trailing indicator to select emoji representation (🗣︎⚠︎™︎ vs 🗣️⚠️™️; usually plain text vs colored glyphs).
The issue seems to be occurring when you use any trailing extra modificator/indicator.
It seems that either D#+, or Discord is stripping all VS modifiers, so the text you see in the client context menu has only the base code point.
