Graphic "glitch" #2023
|
What causes this? Auto crop always gets rid of it but it also zooms the screen, especially the disk/hand screen shown. Is there a "proper" way of removing it?

That's a glitch coming from the shared code inherited from WinUAE. I assume it will be fixed upstream eventually, and so will Amiberry's implementation also :) EDIT: As Toni mentioned below, it's not an emulation glitch but a hardware bug from OCS Denise. |

This is not emulation bug. It is OCS Denise hardware bug where vertical blanking starts/ends before hblank start/end. Was fixed in ECS Denise and AGA. In WinUAE it is only visible in Overscan+ or higher mode, normal default mode hides first and last partial line because it looks like emulation bug and wasn't emulated until later 4.x versions or so. (It might have been visible in some earlier test versions even without Overscan+) (Even worse looking hardware bug appears in NTSC + OCS Denise. Also fixed in ECS Denise. Also hidden unless Overscan+ or larger.) |
