A new look: a new icon, a rounded K in green and brass, on your home screen and in F-Droid, and the app's accent is now the icon's green.
Themes: Settings has a new Appearance section with Light, Dim, Dark and Auto, which follows your phone between light and dark. Dim is still the default, the home-screen widget follows along, and the choice stays on this phone.
Running your own server? Update it to 0.8.5 to bring the new icon and green accent to the web app too.

Fixes being signed out of every device at once. Your sign-in is saved as soon as it is renewed, and backups no longer copy it.
A roomier editor: the tools float above the navigation bar, Markdown is styled as you type, and Enter continues a list. Notes now read exactly as on the web, and tapping an unusual link can no longer crash the app. When it can't sync, the app now says why.
Running your own server? Update it to 0.8.1 too: most of the sign-out fix is there.

Voice notes: record one straight into a note and play it back. Works offline and with no server at all.
Play a voice note from the notes list, without opening the note first.
Export and import: save everything to a file you keep, and load it back on another phone. Works without a server too. Importing only ever adds notes, so the same file twice gives you duplicates.
Running your own server? Update it to 0.8.0 as well, and check its proxy settings: voice notes and import need both.
