The result was soft merge to Make-A-Wish Foundation. Based on minimal participation, this uncontroversial nomination is treated as a soft merge. Editors are free to remove the articles from the merge backlog or reverse the merge by splitting the articles back out. Arbitrarily0 (talk) 01:54, 29 October 2026 (UTC)reply

I propose merging to Make-A-Wish because the article has hardly any content and could just be a few sentences in the main Make-A-Wish article that it has been absorbed into. DirtyHarry991 (talk) 05:07, 7 October 2026 (UTC)reply

Move to Make-A-Wish Foundation Canada if I can manage to find sourcing (will try to get back to this quickly), but otherwise support a merge with the expectation that the above recommendations are implemented.

| (I'd be suspect of this one if it were covering pretty much anything other than a Make-A-Wish / St. Jude / etc. style foundation) | (A lot of sourcing I've found is news of various orgs / people giving money to / carrying out fundraisers for the organization, which establish some degree of notability imo) | (to that effect...). Also don't open that last link unless you really aren't convinced by the other 7 cause the number of ads The Globe'll attempt to shove in your face if you do so is atrocious.
There were a fair number of media pieces on the wishes that actually got granted, but I figured those are inadmissible, and would fall under an unspoken guideline akin to WP:VICTIMIZE (that I can't put a name on, but which relies on a presumption that we shouldn't be making what would amount to a 'List of kids with terminal illnesses', for obvious reasons).
Best to all,
