    Summary

    Description
English: Collage showing a comparison of the state of the Aral Sea from August 22, 1964, and August 25, 2026.

Both images are from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, and pieced together my me using Adobe Photoshop.

I carefully took the positions of Aralsk, a small but thin peninsula on the bottom left of the Aral Sea, and a sharp turn on the Amu Darya river on the bottom right, drew a triangle for the 2 images, aligned the images, then resized to fit the box of positions against the top, bottom, left, and right sides of both images, to make sure that both image's sizes and positions are as close as possible.
