"Owak," Atari's newest video game
is one-player gun attraction with video
ducks flying up and around the screen .
Player clutches rifle and "fires" at
ducks. Specially developed light gun
installed in rifle barrel. After pulling
trigger, screen shows where shot
placed by lighting spot hit. Players
allowed three shots to hit each duck.
Ducks make unusual authentic
"qwak" sounds. If duck is hit, it folds
wings and dives into marsh making
"buzz bomb" sound as it falls. To
complete video display, dog runs out
from si de of screen to duck, picks up,
and disappears. After dog exits,
another duck fl ies out. Score of hit
duck~ visually tallied top of screen.
