GPU-accelerated WebView plugin for Unreal Engine

Get from FAB | Demo Project on GitHub

Bring the power of Chromium Embedded Framework (CEF) to your Unreal Engine projects with UCefView. This plugin provides a robust and performant WebView component, enabling you to seamlessly integrate web-based content into your games and applications. UCefView offers both Slate (SCefView) and UMG (UCefView) implementations, hardware-accelerated rendering, and a flexible JavaScript bridge for rich interactivity.

Install the XCef SDK separately in Project Settings > Engine > UCefView Settings > XCef SDK, choose a compatible package, and restart the Editor. Editor and PIE reuse the shared installation; Live Coding does not copy SDK files. Packaged games include their target runtime. See Getting Started and XCef SDK Management.

CEF runs in the separate XCefHost process and can coexist with Unreal's built-in Web Browser. The current SDK integration supports Windows x64, macOS x86_64/arm64, and Linux x64.
