ROGUELITE MODE
Build a deck of cards that multiply your profits and survive 15 floors of market chaos, with a boss every 5 floors. Card order matters: rarities, editions and combos decide how far you go.

â–² 15 floors, 3 bosses, shifting market regimes, news and black swans
â–² A card deck with rarities, editions and combos
â–² Unlockable difficulty levels, daily challenge, album and achievements
MEET VOLPONE
A shady fox runs the shop every 2 floors: cards, trinkets, consumables and booster packs. Everything has a price. Nothing is guaranteed. Maybe he will refund you. Drag your own cards and items onto the red $ zone to sell them.

STORY MODE
Start with just $2,000 and a mentor named Bully. He hands you missions, one at a time, grouped in chapters: your first trade, going short, diversifying, surviving market events and growing a real fund.

â–² Missions give XP: level up to unlock new markets and earn talent points
â–² Finish a chapter to earn a permanent Edge card
â–² A living market with companies, dividends, news and events

"dude, I know how to invest now"
- finally you go to university? awesome, what should invert?
"KFC"
- wha
Ha! Did you try the game? I'd love to hear what you think.
There's a great big 'buy' button, but no 'sell' button.
Tutorial simply tells the player to buy and sell at a profit.
Hi, and thank you for the feedback, it's really useful!
To make sure I fix the right thing: which mode were you playing, "New run" (the roguelite one, with the chart and the cards) or "Story mode" (the one with the asset list, BUY button and Open positions panel)? And were you on PC or on a phone?
If you can tell me where you got stuck, or send a screenshot, I'll make the tutorial point to the right spot and more specific. Thanks for playing, this is my first game and I'm a solo developer , my intent is to do a very good game for free , any feedback and idea will be appreciated.
Much love ♡
Story Mode.
(I believe Roguelites are for people who already have a full grasp of the basics already.)
If I can ask some questions:
What is it you're basing this game on exactly?
What's your philosophy with respects to economics and trade markets?
Did you make this game as a form of commentary?
Do you have a trade background?
Thanks, that's really helpful! I just made the SELL button visible next to BUY in Story mode (it was hidden, and the only way to sell was a small CLOSE button on the positions row), and I'll keep improving the tutorial.
About your questions: I'm not a professional trader. I'm a developer who builds trading bots and invests on my own, and I wanted to make a game that teaches the basics (buy, sell, short, fees, risk) in a fun way. It's not a commentary or a statement about the markets: the market is fictional and the game is meant as a playful simulation, not financial advice.
Roguelite mode is the more "game" side (cards, bosses, scoring) and Story mode is the more gradual one. If you try the update, tell me what feels clearer or still confusing!
