While the original Outlander centered on time-crossed lovers Claire and Jamie, the prequel Blood of My Blood details their parents’ origins. Season 2 finds Jamie’s parents trying to protect each other on and off the battlefield in the Scottish Highlands. Claire’s parents, meanwhile, are separated across time, with Henry in England during World War I and Julia stranded in 18th-century Scotland.
