JUEGOS QUE NOS ENCANTAN

Drop the Beat

Clear blocks to the rhythm of pulsing electronic music.

It’s easy to lose yourself in Lumines Remastered’s vibrant musical puzzles. Form falling blocks into same-colored squares without letting them pile up to the top of the screen. The catch? Matching blocks are cleared only when a timeline bar rhythmically sweeps through the grid. Zone out to the beat of hypnotic techno music and see if you can survive an epic 40-level playlist.

What we love: Stacking massive multipliers. Each 2x2 square you create before the timeline bar passes through adds to your score bonus. When you quickly form four squares to quadruple your points for that sweep, it’s electrifying.

The timeline bar is your friend…until it isn’t.

Quick tip: Watch out for track changes! When the beat slows down, so does the timeline bar. That’s great for setting up big combos but dangerous if your blocks are piling up and you need to make some room.

Meet the creator: Japanese developer Tetsuya Mizuguchi created the original Lumines in 2004, calling its blend of music and puzzle gameplay an “interactive Walkman.” He founded Enhance in 2014 to update his games for modern devices.
