I like this app so much, it allows you to have a private number that you can share if you don’t wanna share your actual phone number. However, it’s not really accessible with VoiceOver. I still love your app and try to use it with limited Accessibility. I would love if you could make it friendly a bit bit for as Blind users that we use your app. Also, there’s a bug that when I have my phone do not disturb. Will go through if somebody calls. Even though it is do not disturb, it should be able to mute calls. Instead, it’s like do not disturb doesn’t exist for the app at all. Thank you, have a wonderful day. I’ll keep trying to use your app like that, it’s a good app. I think it could be good.

This app is actually so good. One of my friends can’t call us on the regular iPhone messages app because she can sometimes only call on her dad’s phone. Her phone doesn’t have messages for some reason so she can only call on Snapchat when she doesn’t have her dad’s phone. But some of us can’t have Snapchat. Then, we found Zangi which is an app where all of us can call and text. But there is one thing that bothers us. It’s the fact that we can’t really turn on our cameras. I don’t know if there’s a certain way we have to turn them on but video call doesn’t pop up in group chat calls. Also another thing that bothers us. Only the admin/person who created the group can call the group chat, which is lowkey kind of unfair. Also, I know you’re probably doing that for safety reasons, but there should be a switch that you can turn on when creating a group where if you want to let the others call the group chat when they want to, they can. But that’s literally all that bothers us. We love Zangi so much! Please take my advice, thanks for reading!

I appreciate the privacy of an app that has end-to-end encryption and stores your data only on your device, but Zangi takes that to extremes. If I want to use Zangi on my iPhone when I’m holding that but on my iPad or Mac when I’m in front of that, I can’t. Not only do past messages not appear when you sign in on a new device (which is 100% understandable and I expected), but you’re suddenly signed out on the first device, with an “invalid account” message popping up.By comparison, Signal wants to use your existing phone number, but at least allows you to receive/read/send messages on more than one device at a time. The app asks for access to your contacts so it can see who else you’re connected to, which seems shady, since you never use your actual phone number when registering, just a seemingly random Zangi “private number.” I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt that there’s potential value, perhaps comparing the names of people in your contacts to the names of people who’ve registered, but I figure if you want someone to have your Zangi private number, you’ll give it to them.

First, I need to say that this is a good traditional messenger app. Links show up with nice previews, gifs auto play, "FaceTime" and the rest of the usual bells & whistles. Now, as an encrypted messenger app, it's good because it has end-to-end encryption, nothing is stored or passes through any other party. However, I did give it three stars because I believe there are at least a couple necessary features that are missing from this app. Zangi doesn't have disappearing messages, you can't put a Touch ID or Face ID lock on the app, and you can't use a decryption key of your choosing. I've also noticed some really strange behavior like random pictures from my photo album being sent when all I type is text. Also, I've found that many of my text replacements won't work if I type and send the message quickly. Honestly, I prefer the messenger app "Signal", but I have friends on both, so I use both. I will admit that Zangi has the better GUI though.
