PRIVATE & DISCREET BY DESIGN
For many of us, privacy isn't a nice-to-have, this is why Voda is built to be yours alone:
- Lock the app with Face ID, Touch ID or a passcode, so what's inside stays private and secure.
- Your entries are encrypted with industry-standard security. We'll never sell your data.
- You own your data, and you can delete it at any time.
FREE SELF-CARE RESOURCES
Access 220+ modules on coming out safely, coping with hate speech, and more - including the Trans+ Library, one of the most comprehensive collections of trans+ wellbeing resources anywhere, free to everyone. Whether you're lesbian, gay, bi, trans, queer, non-binary, intersex, asexual, Two-Spirit, questioning - or anywhere beyond and between - Voda is built for you.

Using the Voda app has profoundly helped me become more aware and accepting of my queer identity. The app’s personalized affirmations, paired with actionable strategies grounded in evidence-based approaches, have strengthened my confidence and challenged unhelpful thoughts and limiting beliefs that I once held about myself. Its daily advice and mindfulness exercises offer practical tools that make it easier to buffer minority stress and cultivate self-compassion. I especially appreciate how the app creates a supportive, affirming space where my experiences feel validated and normalized.Through Voda, I’ve gained skills to better regulate my emotions and cope with challenges specific to LGBTQIA+ life, all while continuously affirming my identity. The tailored content and community-driven approach make me feel understood and empowered to implement changes in my self-care routine. Overall, Voda has been invaluable in helping me embrace and celebrate my queer self with greater resilience and self-love.
build bravery and focus :)

Even after using this app for only a few weeks, I have already noticed feeling more grounded and intentional. The journeys they send you on help you recognize your thoughts and all the voices that may want to have a say in who you are and how you present and interact with the world, and you have a chance to pause, reflect, and reframe. They help build inner strength so you can reshape your view of the world into one of boldness, acceptance, and being enough. They give you practical examples of little ways to start being braver, and there’s a space to give feedback if you have questions or suggestions on a journey. It’s clear that the people who created this app care deeply about those of us on the other side of the screen, and they want to create a space for LGBTQIA people to flourish. Thank you, Voda!

Voda Is Functionally Counterintuitive
Futurandre
Downloaded this app after seeing it advertised on Facebook. As an LGBTQ+ person, was desperate to find some mode of self care/therapeutic maintenance for my ongoing social and disability related problems. Instead I found an app that, while helpful at first, didn’t make it clear that it had a paywall after the first day. Or as I saw in another comment, required the use only of random free services on the site. Or even more so the need to apply for a special scholarship to use the app for free. All of these factors indicate that the creators of the app care more about profit and their bottom line than the people who are needing their services for help. I needed more than the weekly visits my disability insurance covers for offline therapy. And navigating the complicated and difficult to read well system Voda employs caused me the kind of cognitive stresses I actually sought out this app to try to manage. This app is a very important service. And really needs to be more user friendly and less concerned with profit. And take into consideration the complicated economic and cognitive issues of its users.

Hi there, thank you for taking the time to write this - you’re right that support should feel simple, not like another thing to manage. Voda has a free tier, and if cost is a barrier, our Voda+ scholarships are free and quick to apply for at voda.co/scholarships - everyone who applies is approved. We’re also working on making what’s free and what’s paid much clearer in the app. If anything’s been confusing, please email me at jaron@voda.co and I’ll personally help get you set up. - Jaron
Kind CEO, new AI Opt-Out!!
Thisisstacia
I used this app by avoiding the AI features for a bit until I decided to email the CEO Jaron, who was the kindest person I’m spoken to in a long time. Everyone on the team is clearly truly devoted to the wellbeing of people and it’s shown through action. They communicate amazingly, and the app itself is so powerful. I use it daily, the artwork is cute but the therapist-written content and different coping skills provided are sourced and proven. I can’t say thank you to Jaron enough! And all the developers, thank you for making a safe app with real world resources and meditations. If you’d like my first born child or my kidney just say the word
Developer Response
Thank you so much for sharing this!! and I’m really glad Voda has been there for you through it. Take care of yourself, and thanks for being part of the community. :-) - Jaron
More ways to feel seen. We’ve expanded mood check-ins with more emotional states so you can describe how you’re really feeling. You’ll now earn 100 Stars once you complete onboarding, plus additional Stars when you unlock badges, and get notified when someone sends Stars to your comment on Today’s Wisdom. We've also fixed bugs on push notifications and made the app faster and smoother. Thank you for being part of Voda.
