Excellent content, annoying experience

This app would honestly be excellent except for one thing. At least once a day, the app makes me sign back in to my account. When this happens, everything I’ve downloaded gets deleted, so there’s really no point in downloading to begin with. On top of that, if I was in the middle of a video, logging back in causes the app to forget my progress in said video. It’s very annoying to have to find where I was in a three hour opera because the app did “the thing” again. If this could be rectified, it would absolutely be a 5 star rating for me as the content itself is superb.

Dear Sir or Madam,Thank you for your honest feedback, and we’re really sorry for the frustration this caused. We understand how annoying it must have been to be signed out, lose downloads, and have your video progress reset — especially during a long opera. The good news is that this issue has been resolved in our latest app update. Please update to the newest version when you can, and everything should work as expected again. We’re so glad to hear you’re enjoying the content itself. If the update solves the issue for you, we’d be very grateful if you would consider updating your rating. Thank you again for helping us improve the app.Best regards,The STAGE+ Team

I discovered this App recently and am greatly impressed. Playing through Apple TV, LG 4K and Sonos sound system, it was like sitting in the concert hall! Listening to a recent video of the Bach B Minor Mass with John Elliott Gardener and the Monteverdi Choir filmed in the Chapel at Versailles was simply magnificent! The sound was glorious and the visuals exquisite. The offerings both videos and audio recordings are expanding each week. While a bit expensive, from my perspective, it’s well worth the price for this definitely A+ streaming App. Well done DG!

Hello, I recently started a free trial. This app is great! My only complaint is that when you exit the app it doesn’t save your place or retain where you were in an album. In the A-Z Karajan albums (very long albums) this is a bit frustrating. If you could add a feature where you can resume listening to an album when you last stopped then this app would be perfect in my opinion. I would be a definite subscriber if this feature was added. Thanks!

The audio and video quality are superb. It is better than Digital Concert Hall because it offers greater variety of orchestras and musical types (orchestral, opera, etc). Stage+ doesn’t have as many videos, but it is great variety and superior quality. Three ways to make it better: (1) video playlists based on themes or moods;(2) CarPlay support; and(3) digital liner notes for audio albums and/or digital programs with relevant information for videos.
