I took a chance and purchased this game despite the reviews about the save issue, and I’m so glad I did. It’s a beautiful game both visually and emotionally, the puzzles are satisfying to solve, and the little companion animals is so cute! I haven’t had any issues with save files at all.

I saw the complaints in comments about people losing progress, but gave the game a try anyway. It seemed to be fixed for the first half of the game, but beginning about midway through it is no longer saving progress beyond that point. I’ve now got about an hour’s worth of repeating the same map levels to get back to where I was.Update: It took 1hr 20 minutes to make up the progress I lost. I then intended to just finish the game in one sitting to avoid the save issue, but when I took a screenshot of one of the scenes the whole game froze and I had to restart. I hoped it would restore closer to where it froze as I had started a new chapter. But alas, it lost all my progress again back tot he halfway point and now it would take me nearly 2 hours of speed running through the game just to catch back up to where it should have saved.

This is a wonderful game with great story, graphics and puzzles to solve. It is frustrating to make lots of progress in the game, and not have any of that progress saved for the next time I can play. It seems to have only saved to a certain point and I must play for another 45 mins to an hour to get caught up to where I was when I stopped playing. It is frustrating and irritating to not be able to save at certain milestones since it is not doing so automatically.

I wish it had horses in it and you find them in a field And you can jump on their back and tame them kind of like Zelda and you can put them back in the stable if you don’t wanna ride them and take them out whenever
