Hi, we're Pie, the real-life social network for people who'd rather connect than doomscroll.
Someone asks "who wants to play darts tonight?" Everyone who's in joins the group chat, and now you're planning the hang.
Coming alone? So is half the chat. Read rich profiles that show who you really are (like a matcha-loving streetballer or a punk rock knitter), not just your face. Chat to say hi before you show up.
Join 350,000+ others on Pie.
THE TWO MAIN PIECES OF OUR PIE (WE HAD TO)
Things You Like To Do
Run clubs, supper clubs, watch parties, and whatever someone dreams up tonight. If you'd do it with friends, it's on Pie.
People You Enjoy
Interesting, like-minded, actually-fun people you run into so many times that you accidentally become best friends. No pressure, no promises.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Throw out an idea, or find one
2. Chat with the people who join
3. Show up. Say hi. Repeat.
A HOME FOR YOUR PEOPLE
Every run club, supper club and fandom gets a Community Home, so the people, the plans and the chat live on between meetups.
HOSTING? WE'VE GOT YOU
Throw a plan, grow a crew, and give your community a home. Join the Pie Creator Club for extra perks.
Real profiles, so you know who you're meeting before the event. Make your plans public, private, or request-to-join for more control.
MORE WAYS PIE HELPS YOU GET A LIFE™
• Favorites: Put what you're into on your profile, so the right people (and plans) find you.
• A Personalized Feed: See what your friends and friends-of-friends are up to and who's going to what.
• Event Hosting: Create a plan and share it in your city's feed, or keep it tight to your community.
NOW HANGING IN CHICAGO, NEW YORK, LA AND AUSTIN
Not in one of these cities? Sit tight—we'll get to you soon. Or move here. Your call.
Quit scrolling and make real connections on Pie.

I’m so grateful to the person who told me to download PIE! As a social person moving to a new big place, I was struggling finding community that felt right. I found myself in place and spaces and didn’t feel authentic to me. Then someone suggested this app and said how it took the pressure off of meeting people because it was just local everyday people creating events for community. Ever since then, I have felt unstoppable! My social calendar is full and I feel so confident and comfortable putting myself in these new setting sometimes alone. This app has really inspired me to get back into Event Operation work because seeing how possible it is to create something meaningful really has me itching to create community events again! Thank you!

Where the people I enjoy, enjoy together

Pie is such a refreshing way to meet people and make genuine connections! What I love most is that it goes beyond simply connecting online. It creates opportunities to actually meet people in real life who share your interests, passions, and sense of adventure.I founded the What A Small World community through Pie, and it has been such a fun experience. I hosted a What A Small World: Travel Tales & Cocktails event where people came together to swap travel stories, talk about their favorite destinations, and find others who wanted to travel to the same places. Watching people who had never met before leave with new connections and potential travel buddies was honestly so rewarding.I also love how easy it is to turn an idea into an actual community. Pie makes it feel natural to find people who are excited about the same things you are.If you are new to a city, looking to expand your social circle, or simply want to find your people, I highly recommend Pie. It has made meeting people feel exciting and intentional again!
You don’t need my phone number
FM_M
I keep hearing about Pie - they’re getting some great press coverage! I downloaded it and wanted to check it out, but the first thing it demands is my phone number, which I don’t give out to apps. Now, I’ve read comments here on the App Store, and Pie has some really good, human, often funny responses to negative reviews, so before you tell me about how you’d never use my data for the wrong purposes, it’s not about that. It’s data security, and phone numbers are sensitive data; they’re gold for data collection because they let brokers connect disparate data together. Look, no company is unbreachable. You don’t really need my phone number, so stop using it as a cornerstone. And why? Just because it’s easy for you to do, or something (it reads as lazy)? Show us you care more about us than “easy”. Come up with a new way, and don’t collect phone numbers.

Appreciate you giving Pie a shot (and the thoughtful feedback)! We ask for a phone number because it's one of the best ways we have to keep bots and fake accounts off the platform and make the community feel more human. We know that tradeoff won't be for everyone, but we're grateful you took the time to share your perspective.
Great app to meet new people
ErininChicago1
I’ve been in Chicago for two years and have been craving some new things to do and new communities to be a part of! Ever since I’ve joined I’ve gotten the chance to become a part of some really intimate friend groups and have definitely found new people at similar places of life The app itself could use a couple upgrades in terms of features but it’s really easy to use to make and find plans !
Hosts can grab their guest list, and chats can have their own photo.
• Hosting? Export your RSVP list as a spreadsheet, emailed straight to you
• Change a chat's photo right from the chat menu
• Published plans no longer show up as drafts when you go to edit them
• Saving a photo from chat to your phone works every time, not just the first
• Posts now show squiggles only when the author actually added them
