myNoise offers 350+ immersive soundscapes, entirely customizable. Move the sliders to create the ambience that perfectly fits your needs. The app is designed as your daily companion: to focus, to sleep, or simply to relax.
Used by millions of users worldwide, myNoise is designed for long listening sessions, with an average listening time of over one hour per session.
WHAT PEOPLE USE IT FOR
There are thousands of reasons why you'd need to immerse yourself in an ambient sound you crafted yourself. Here are the most frequent ones:
• Focus & productivity. A stable audio environment for studying, remote work or the office. Widely used by people with ADHD, AuDHD or autism.
• Sleep. Build the ambience that helps you fall asleep, and cover whatever might wake you.
• Noise masking. Cover traffic, neighbours, an open-plan office or a noisy household. A steady background sound makes disruptive noise far easier to ignore.
• Stress & anxiety. Shut out the outside world when you need it most. Also used as PTSD support.
• Tinnitus relief. Tune a background sound that blends with your own ringing. Every tinnitus is different, so every sound here can be adjusted to match yours.
• Meditation & breathing, with a meditation bell to pace your sessions.
WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT
A lot of things! Try the app :) But here are the main reasons we're different:
• You shape the sound. Every soundscape has its own sliders. "White Noise & Co" alone covers white, brown, green, grey and pink noise, so a single soundscape can replace an entire app, or a physical noise machine. "Mediterranean Garden" lets you set the ocean waves, the wind, the cicadas.
• Or build your own. Creation Mode lets you combine up to 10 sliders taken from any soundscape in the app: rain from one, a drone from another, birds from a third.
• Professionally engineered. Every soundscape is built by research engineer Dr. Ir. Stéphane Pigeon and mixed for hours of comfortable listening. It keeps evolving and never loops back on itself.
• 100% human sound. Field recordings and real instruments. No AI-generated audio, ever.
• One purchase, for life. Free to download, no ads, no subscription. Unlock everything once and keep it, including every soundscape we release later.
INSIDE THE APP
• 350+ soundscapes: rain, forest, ocean, fireplace, fan, city ambiences, musical soundscapes, tonal drones and colored noises (white, brown, gray, pink, blue, green,...)
• Creation Mode, to build your own soundscape from up to 10 sliders
• A meditation bell you can set to ring at your own interval
• Presets to start from, and room to save your own
• Animate Mode, which moves the sliders for you so a soundscape keeps evolving
• Offline listening
• No ads, no subscription
Every soundscape comes with the story of how it was recorded, right inside the app.

I’ve been a user for yearssss many many years, I think about a decade now. And I just now read other reviews and realized why my old purchase wasn’t viable with the new app (still available with the old app!), regardless, I was still going to rate 5 stars because paying $20 for the new app *is worth it* to me. So now I have both! I just love this team, I have adored this app for years and it’s been so useful for airports, no cell service from hurricanes, and helping with insomnia while traveling as an easily homesick individual. Being able to control the sliders is so vital as someone who gets unpredictably annoyed by certain tones even with trusty white noise. I do hope to see the multi gen within the new app, it is the best aspect next to the sliders. Other than that, the sheer diverse range of sounds is incredible and it’s so exciting to see new ones pop up. I’m so proud of the developers for coming this far to bring us such a sleepsaving app.
A must get! Improvement on old app; no sound combining yet

I’ve been using myNoise on my iPad for years, mostly via the older app, some via the website. myNoise helps me greatly with insomnia, stress, and tinnitus, transports me from my limited surroundings, and brings me much happiness. The new app has a much more attractive, intuitive, and efficient interface. And it still does not sell our data. Hurray! Thank you! 🙏I rave about myNoise every chance I get, and I always highlight 2 things: the huge library of incredibly skillful, beautiful, and varied recordings; and the ability to mix sounds into new soundscapes. The new app includes the complete selection of recordings, but I am eagerly awaiting the track combining feature. I need a purring kitty beside my roaring fireplace, after all!I have a feature request. Please give us a way to export even just a simple text list of our downloaded and favorited soundscapes, so that if we lose that information due to getting a new device, we can recreate them. I have grieved losing all of them when I got a new iPad. I guess I could take screenshots. I should probably do that as a precaution. But a feature to make this easier would be welcomed! (Update: I just got word that the team will be looking into something to address this!)I recommend to all myNoise users to read the app and website information thoroughly, and explore what you can do. There are lots of details that are not immediately obvious.Kudos to developer Stéphane and his helpers. What an amazing labor of love, that truly makes so many lives better.

Amazing noise app

As a user of the legacy myNoise app, I wanted to share the app with one of my friends. I then found that the myNoise app had been completely re-designed and re-coded. Having used the old app built by Florian for several years, it’s a no-brainer to unlock the full access in the new version of the app. With this new app, I still have access to all the old generators that I loved, and will have access to everything new that comes out. While there is a difference in the animations and I miss the multis, the new app is still a worthwhile upgrade - especially to ensure compatibility with future devices. P.S. The friend that I had download the new version of the myNoise app loves the fan sound. She says it’s the first noise app that has a realistic fan sound that she, an ADHD southerner, can use while traveling. With the right fiddling, it sounds just like a box fan :)

Hello! Thanks a lot for your wonderful review and for spreading the word about myNoise. You have no idea how motivating it is for us, especially when working late at night. I'm glad you and your friend enjoy the new app, rebuilding everything from scratch wasn't easy. Count on us to keep working hard on improving the app and creating new soundscapes (Flock of Flutter has just been released). We plan to implement a creation mode in the coming months, so hopefully you won't miss the multis anymore. Always feel free to reach out if needed! Take care, Rémy
In this update, we:
- Kept the purchase button visible on every screen.
- Made the app reopen on the last tab you used.
- Improved the creation mode: your slider levels are kept, and the Tune slider is now called Pitch.
- Fixed the "..." menu in the library and myNoise links opening the wrong screen.
- Improved large font display and updated the app's foundations for better stability.
