Your Camera, Your Looks, Your Way. Moment Pro Camera II turns your phone into your favorite camera for photography and filmmaking. Shoot like a pro with full manual controls, creative looks, and an upgraded interface – all in one intuitive app. What’s New in Pro Camera II? Our first pro camera app has been the #1 rated camera app for years. Now, it’s time for the next chapter. We’ve re-engineered Pro Camera II from the ground up to give you better performance, advanced controls, and new customizable interfaces and shooting modes. Key Features: • Pro-Level Exposure Control – Our smart exposure system allows you to take control with Shutter Priority, ISO Priority, Manual, and Auto exposure modes, including the ability to limit Auto ISO to a specific range. • Upgraded White Balance – Beyond auto white balance, you can manually configure temperature and tint, choose a preset, or calibrate via a gray card. • Advanced Photo Options – Control the level of processing and HDR applied to your photos. Shoot in RAW, ProRAW, TIFF, HEIF, or JPG. • Cinematic Video Tools – Apple Log, Open Gate, ProRes, 10-bit recording, and more. Adjust the resolution, color space, frame rate, codec, bitrate, and chroma subsampling for total creative freedom. • Precision Monitoring – Get pro-level feedback with Waveform, RGB Histograms, and audio meters — normally reserved for cinema cameras. • Aspect Ratio – Frame your shot within your favorite aspect ratio (4:3, 16:9, 3:2, 5:4, 1:1) • Designed for All Creators – A beautiful, intuitive interface that adapts to how you shoot. Swipe, tap, and adjust anything immediately with one hand (including a dedicated left-handed layout), or go distraction-free with Zen Mode. Works natively in landscape orientation. • Looks, Your Way – Apply creative Looks or import your own LUTs to video and photos. Preview them live, bake them into your footage, or adjust intensity on the fly. • Focus Tools That Just Work – Separate reticles for exposure and focus with a tap, or dial in the shot with Manual Focus and Focus Peaking. • Quick Actions, Faster Shooting – One swipe to reach your most used tools: flash, stabilization, zebras, focus peaking, grids, and more. • Intuitive Lens Control – Remove the guesswork of which lens you are using and eliminate surprises with our Optic Controls. Say goodbye to shaky zoom with our fluid zoom control. • Hardware-Ready – Optimized for every iPhone, with seamless integration for external mics and Moment’s entire lens + case ecosystem. Upcoming Feature Releases • Look Store: purchase creator color grades and film emulations • Slow Shutter and Timelapse modes • Advanced Profile sharing and collaboration tools • Extended hardware integration partnerships We love hearing from our community. For feature requests, ideas, or support, email us at hello@shopmoment.com or message us @momentprocamera on social media. Fully Compatible with iPhone and Moment's complete ecosystem of lenses, cases, and accessories.

My New GO-TO Camera!!!

I was skeptical at first, that I needed a dedicated cam for my iPhone. I’ve always been fine with Apple’s native cameras and the latest one has some great new features. However, as a photographer for the last 45 years… this ProCamera ii by Moment scratches all the itches I have when using a smart phone as a camera. It even has features that I didn’t know I needed.I’ve known smart phone cameras would eventually replace legacy cameras for most use. I even published photo books using the iPhone 3. The original reason I bought this app is because it’s not subscription and it allows me to use and desqueeze anamorphic lenses, as well as import and bake LUTs into my images… but this app is so much more and does just about everything the way I’d do it if I was designing my own custom camera. At first I was hesitant that it didn’t support recording to external devices, but as soon as I pulled the trigger… an update came out that now supports external recording. For images too! And, it intelligently lets you specify where photos get saved as well as video… and remembers these settings unless you change it.I love the free Blackmagic camera app for video, but more and more… I’m starting to favor this Moment app for video too. The interface is less cluttered and gets out of the way when you need it to.Enthusiastically Highly Recommended!!!

First off, apologies for how harsh my initial review sounded, this team clearly works hard and cares. I’ve been in the beta, and it’s been genuinely cool to watch the app improve and see how responsive the devs are.Little by little it’s become my go-to for anything shot with intention (vlogs, stock footage, client shoots, slow shutter tracking), native camera still wins for short, last-minute grabs. Between this and Blackmagic Camera, Moment Pro 2 beta is winning me over, Blackmagic feels cluttered and buggier by comparison. I could see this becoming my only camera app before long. Stabilization in the beta feels smoother than before too, though unconfirmed, and I’m excited for the advanced stabilization update.Overall, great experience and getting better fast.

EDIT: Thank you for the details. There is a way to send logs! It requires some additional steps though, so please email us at hello@shopmoment.com with Pro Camera in the subject line.EDIT: It is frustrating to watch your review get more and more negative with each edit. We are sorry to hear about your issues and would very much like to address them. However, because your experience is an outlier, we need more details about your particular device and settings to investigate the underlying cause.EDIT: regarding the issues you would like us to investigate – please reach out via email, Featurebase, Discord, or Reddit. Editing this review as the only means of communication makes it very difficult for us to gather the necessary information, especially since many of these issues have not been reported by any other users and are not reproducible on our test devices. We would love to gather some more diagnostics from your device.PREVIOUS RESPONSE: Thank you for the detailed feedback! Enhanced stabilization, slow shutter, and burst are all coming. For now, the recommended way to save white balance presets is via Profiles, but I understand how individual WB options could be useful. Please add this to our Featurebase as well when you get a chance!

Good, but needs work

I like the overall part of this app as a casual photographer, but I am miffed it doesn’t operate like I believe it should. Taking pictures at 100mm doesn’t save them for some reason. It takes moment to process, sure, but it’s not processing at all when I take multiple photos in a row, causing me to lose precious moments.I have also had issues where it doesn’t load the camera function at all. Even going back to the default camera app is black, so I think they’re counteracting one another for some reason, locking out my camera entirely. I have to restart my device or wait several minutes for it to figure it out - and this is on the new iPhone. :/I need to dive deeper into it and I look forward to it, but if it’s not functional in clumsy hands, it’s not for everyone. Accessibility should be the forefront of any development. I look forward to improvements in this area.

The Camera App Apple Should Have Made

This app is absolutely phenomenal. My only complaint is that I wish I had found it sooner. I have never taken better pictures on my iPhone before I found this app, despite using Halide sparingly in the past, which doesn’t even come close to this app’s feature set. It has basically everything that I could possibly ask for out of a professional-grade iOS camera app, and anything else I could want out of it is already in the development pipeline. Add in the incredibly helpful and responsive development team, and I’d give this app 6 stars if I could.
