I have had this app for years and have been reading stories, back then the app was nice to use but now with the new updates you have to pay for diamonds just to have a specfic choice or to support the authors even though reading the stories is technically supporting the author. I hate that I have to become a VIP just to have diamonds to be able to make choices in the majority of the stories on the app. I love this app a lot I just wished they got rid of the VIP/ diamonds. This why I'm giving 3 stars

I was captivated by the novel and elaborte texts that this game presented while i was bored on a normal tuesday evening. I was just enjoying myself when suddenly, BAM i get hit with choices not the ones that have you pondering which one you should chose but rather there was an obvious answer and one that deliberately compromised you sucess, so why was the correct one a prenium choice, at first i was willing to let it slide but then i was hit with another one, why even make a game about stories with choices if have of the choices are locked behind payments that is cruel and a case of false advertisment. Additiontly, if you get fraustred with the lack of clear choices you are allowed to make you cant even play a new story. This application has pleagued my nights and has created a rage in my soul that i have never felt. I believe you should take this application of the app store and rework on creating an actucally fun game where the choices the players make are aactucally intrguing and not because you have forced them to make due to a paywell. very unslay.

i personally love this app. everyone in the reviews are complaining about the gem choices and what not but it’s because they’re not reading the COMMUNITY stories that don’t require gem choices to have a good read! you are seriously missing out if you aren’t reading the community stories. the animations, clothing, overlays, and backgrounds are amazing. especially when authors use them in brilliant ways with “advanced directing.” i enjoy reading outside of this app but a lot of my favorite reads are through episode. i don’t understand the hate and will forever defend this app. although i would love to see plus size male bodies in episode, i think they do a good job of being inclusive to everyone. DON’T LET THE ONE STAR REVIEWERS SCARE YOU AWAY! if episode has no fans, im ded.

I just got Episode a week ago, and so far, so good. There's barely ANY ads, its free, and its really fun! You get to make your own charcter for each story, and then there are choices you have to make thoughout the story. There are even fun interactive choices and actions you have to do. However, there's just one downside. It's the fact that for some questions, there are 2 good choices, and one bad choice that usally ruins the story. But the good choices cost a lot of gems, which are really hard to get. I would recommend Episode for kids and adults 17 , because it does have inappropirate content. Overall, this is a great game!
