For years I was always using the mainstream apps like tinder and hinge. When I realized the users on there were practically the entire population I switched to Raya so it was members only, but their users sucked too. When I saw a cuffed ad I gave it a shot with low expectations but it impressed me above and beyond. They have the members only system which cuts down from the bots and everything. On top of that, I've never gone on more dates from a dating app before. The way their system works where you can only match with one person at a time actually pushes you to go on a date which I love. I have also been to one of the events that they've held and it was such a fun night, I was able to rsvp on the app. The team is also great, couple months ago I had a glitch with my profile and reached out to their support for help. They got back to me in less than and hour and fixed immediately. Truly the best idea I've had to save my dating life was cuffed, going on a 6th date with my match tomorrow!!

Absolutely love love love the concept of one match at a time. All the mainstream dating apps can feel so overwhelming with so many matches. I’ve spent so many hours scrolling on hinge and tinder trying to find a guy that’s my type and looking for more than the hookup culture that those apps promote. Cuffed is filled with attractive men all looking for actual relationships. Also love the application process and exclusivity in who they allow in, so many apps let in anybody and everybody making me so reluctant to actually go on dates out of concern for my own safety. And the minimum word count on the prompts really shows you just who you are talking to and what they want before you put in too much time and energy. Cannot recommend Cuffed enough for people looking for the real deal.

Paid for a 3 month membership, immediate disappointment seeing the only preference controls is the age. So your pool of profile choices don’t even allow for basic filters except for what people decide to volunteer; religion, kids, vices, relational expectations, etc. Ya know, basic relational good-to-know information that would let you know if they would remotely have anything in common. The UI is too sensitive in navigating, I don’t know how else to explain it; it’s almost as bad as Upward is where the act of scrolling sends you away from profile prematurely. Uninstalled shortly after when traveling abroad so I wouldn’t be a “tourist” looking for matches in different countries, came back from my trip and after reinstalling I can’t even see my likes anymore and it’s asking for another subscription fee and it hasn’t even been a month. Reached out to them and have yet to hear back. The only feature that they’re trying to leverage “one conversation/match at a time” doesn’t carry the weight of what other apps do at the basic level for free. Hope this helps someone save $30-90 for something with a better ROI

After waiting a week, I was "invited" to become a Cuffed member for an introductory three month priced at $36. The app main appeal was the promise matching with one person at a time from Cuffed's bevvy of high-quality, exclusive, invitation only, hand selected member. At the $36 membership price, members are limited to view 30 profiles a day. Within the first couple of days, I quickly ran through all the profiles within 50 miles of me. I could easily have swiped through that many profiles on nearly any other dating app in the same amount of time. Over the roughly 10 days I spent on the app before requesting and receiving a prorated refund, I only swiped right on two or profiles, and by then I had been served some of the same profiles twice or more that I had already rejected, and I had it expanded my search area to more than 100 miles from my location. Even with that I wouldn't reach the 30 profiles per day limit - Cuffed ran out of profiles after I've seen only 20 or 25. Based on my experience using the app, they simply don't have enough members, at least not in my area.
