Updated App Store screenshots and clearer information about included language packs. The app continues to support six book languages and offline lookup after setup.

Now available with an interface in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and German. A new book logo and a clearer home screen.

Portuguese, Italian and German are now available as book languages. Download their definitions or add their translations for English books. Installed packs work offline.

French and Spanish dictionaries are now downloaded only when you choose them. Translation packs download separately for the direction you select. Once installed, definitions and translations work offline.

Choose English or French as the language of your book before you read. Choose a translation language or turn translations off; Booktionary remembers your choices. Other meanings now stay collapsed until you open them, and the green highlight sweeps more smoothly across each word.

Definitions now put the meaning that fits the sentence first in a clearly labelled “IN THIS SENTENCE” block, while the other dictionary meanings remain available below. Translations now have their own full-width section beneath the word, so long equivalents are easier to read. The green highlight also completes before the definition opens, making the lookup feel tied to the word you held on.

Choosing the book language moved to the opening screen. The camera screen's back arrow now carries the language with it — "‹ EN" or "‹ FR" — so you can always see which dictionary is active, and tapping it takes you where you change it. The EN/FR badge is no longer a hidden switch you could nudge by accident.
