My dad and I have been downloading new recreations of the old games. He used to play like SimCity and Oregon Trail by the way if you’re reading this review check it out they’re the best games ever anyways I think it’s a really good game. I don’t really know what it’s supposed to be like what it was supposed to be like because I’ve never played it before in the old age like my dad was little but I used a really good game so far. I just think that it’s the controls are a little vague, but I’m still giving this five star piece. It’s an amazing game. It’s really fun. I just think some of the controls are a little vague and it’s a little vague like what to do and stuff but this is a really good game. You should totally download this one thing though they should add a Greek empire they have ruins their pregnancy of Egyptian. They have Japanese they have Chinese why not Greeks was famous like when you think about ancient empires what’s the first name that comes to Romans in Greece, not Chineseof China. Apologies to those of you in China. This is for Americans. Sorry if this is a little mixed up, I used voice, but I meant when you think about the most famous empires ancient you think about Roman and Greek not Chinese again apologies to those of you in China.

I’ve played this game since about 2 months or so from when it first released and since then the game has become excruciatingly pay to win with this latest update even more so then it was with the last few updates which is saying A LOT. The developers are consistently choosing to prioritize releasing more content for their Krakens to spend on then to provide a balanced and some what fair environment. I understand that games like these are designed to be P2W but if you start playing this game then I honestly would encourage you to not spend a dime unless you plan on being a kraken bc all of the developers choices will just diminish any progress you’re hoping your money will help you achieve. They lied to the community with this last update which released extremely slow to achieve new higher tier 8 and 9 units and claimed they were balancing the speed that krakens would unlock them so that it wouldn’t destabilize the current game then just two-ish weeks later started releasing more and more packs that led to krakens unlocking tier 8 very fast and effectively destroys any way for anyone to fight against the unless they also are a kraken with tier 8. And tier 9 which with all the packs the released is going to get unlocked sooner rather than later and will break the game even more. Play this game if you want but do not spend any money unless you’re okay with throwing it away… the game has become one big display of greed, imbalance, and mismanagement by the developers…

Horrible and boring! Not even close to the Legendary childhood masterpieces that we had. Another pay to win cash grab. The only reason I give it 2 stars is because of the adventure mini game is super fun. It’s like an arcade space shooter and you get random abilities and upgrades. Super fun, but the rest of the game is just collecting stuff after coming back and looting AFK in game resources like wood and gold etc. You have to”alliances” which are literally useless and people just send gifts back and forth and you can talk to people, set up a city and wait hours for stuff to build, and keep repeating every single day. Super repetitive and very mid. Wish they had more mini games and classic AOE game play at least a mink game version would have been nice. It is very addicting and I see how people can play it for hours without breaks. Keep looting the afk resources from workers, set up battles in the alliance campground, mini game, loot, keep checking for new soldier being spawned (every hour you collect and get power.) Lastly there is a pvp mode which is mostly just numbers and automated. For example 50,000 POWER army vs 51,200 power. Skip it for rewards. Constantly checking stores and check boxes for rewards. Before you know it hours pass by and all you did was loot stuff all day and press buttons. Very lame and huge time waster imo. If only they could add a real immersive classic mode or something. I am so disappointed all mobile games come to this scammy cash grab. I know, I spent a ton of money on CODM but it was somewhat worth it and the game is usually always fun. Thanks for reading this! Age of empires mobile does not feel like what I expected from an age of empires game the whole point of bringing age of empires to mobile should have been to take the ideas that made the original games great and adapt them to a phone. instead, this feels much more like separate mobile strategy game that happens to have the age of empires name. I wanted the historical civilizations, resource gathering, building, armies, sieges, technology progression, and real time strategy that make age of empires recognizable. I understand that a mobile version has to make some changes, but it should still feel like age of empires underneath those changes. age of empires 4, for example, has its own problems that players can disagree about, what it still feels connected to the same series. The historical setting, civilizations, armies, buildings, and strategy are recognizable as age of empires. that’s what I wanted from the mobile game. I don’t want a completely different game with age of empires attached to it. I want age of empires adapted for mobile. please listen to the players who want the game to feel like the original age of empires games. The mobile version has an opportunity to bring the series to an entirely new audience, but it needs to be preserved what age of empires feels like age of empires in the first place
