  • For phone users

    😞 Layla 😒

All those reviews about this being hard for phones is correct I’m here just trying to convince my mom to get me a corn snake and I need to go to see my sisters apartment and I want to keep on working on it but I can’t bring my computer so I download it onMy phone but it’s so hard to work and I can’t even type but on computer it very good so I think there should be a update where it looks different for phone and tablet users but on computer it’s fun to use 😊 so you should try it out!!

  • Missing mobile features

    Kyera 😐

I tried to use this on my iPad because I don’t have a school computer at home and it was simple and easy to use, but I was trying to get all the controls/features that my computer has on the Google mobile browser because I was missing most of them on the app. The Google apps redirect me to the Google slides app and I can’t share my presentation to my district for public use. It would be nice if there were more features on the app.

  • Becoming more and more unresponsive

    Dave Trollope

I have loved Google Slides on the iPad for quick and easy slide creation or editing for a long time. Recently the app has routinely become stuck, and refuses to make edits available. “Double click to edit” and it doesn’t edit. Inserting an image from photos and the corners aren’t draggable to resize. These issues affect the seamless nature the app used to have and I am forced back to my laptop. 🫣

I love this feature from Google! I have developed and implemented many digitally integrated EPBL trainings and lessons using this program. These creative, collaborative learning presentations and activities can be easily developed and shared during PLC meetings by your staff to also aid in socio-emotional that is equitable and provides differentiated instruction for students as well.

  • Good for dating sims

    I-Eat-cement

I know this is supposed to be used for like, actual meetings and stuff like that, and it probably is good for that, but I used it to make a horror/romance dating simulator with my characters. Highly recommend. It turned out to be fire, this app is peak if you wanna make a dating simulator/visual novel but are stupid and can’t program.

  • A useful app

    😉😁❤️

This is an amazing app. It helps me quite a lot when I am writing documents and making notes and presentations. I enjoy that there are no ads and I can insert images and videos and links. I use this app a lot, and it is very helpful. Thanks so much

Wow! 🤩 Amazing app that is very useful when I need it! This app was recommended to me by my 6th Grade tech teacher. I am still in 6th grade and this app saved my tech project. I needed photos from my phone on the slideshow and my school email does not let any emails from anyone outside of my school so I could not email the photos to myself. Since then I have used this app for other slideshows such as the TED talk I had to do in my Leadership class. Oh! I almost forgot! I have yet to run into an add! The only reason I put 4 stars was I don’t use it that much. Thank you for reading this review! Bye! 👋🏼

  • Google Slides saved my life!

    Psychogiggle

(Slight exaggeration, but it really did save me a ton of work!)I am a DIE HARD Power Point user. I've used Power Point for forever. I know it like the back of my hand. However when my computer died and I was reduced to making slides on my iPhone, Power Point was not there to help me! I tried several different slide apps before landing on Google Slides and I have to say this is by far the BEST app for making Slides from your phone!! By. Far. It's so simple and straightforward! Sharing slides with colleagues is super easy! So when my computer was back up and running I ended up getting the Google Slides app for my Mac as well!! I haven't been back to Power Point since!! So now let me explain why I only gave 4 stars. When you insert an image to a slide (from the iPhone app) it gives the option of photos from your library or to take a picture (standard options). When you select that you want to insert an image from your library it automatically takes you to the "Memories" album on your iPhone (which is every photo in date order) and it starts with the very last photo taken. So if you want to select one that was taken a few weeks ago you have to scroll back through weeks of photos. The photos I use for my slides are all in a folder, but I can't access them here as it will only take me to the Memories album. Also, as you scroll back through your photos you have to be careful not to do this too fast as it will take you to the very FIRST photo and for me that was over five years ago!! So if the makers of the app would PLEASE fix it so that I can select the album I would like to retrieve my image from I would GREATLY appreciate it and will gladly change my rating from a 4 to a 5!

  • Too many bugs on iPad & iPhone

    ₵ØØⱠ ӾⱠ

I make a lot of things on google slides, so I thought the iPhone version would help me out… WRONG! This version of the software is very very buggy and limited! You can’t search the web to find photos, you have to screenshot them yourself! So many good features on the desktop version are thrown away for the App Store version!!! I would think that this was a rip-off made my different people if I didn’t know better!! Don’t get me started on the bugs, because they are horrible. Sometimes your work doesn’t save, which means you need to do everything AGAIN, which isn’t even that bad compared to clicking on things. If you click on something, for example, a shape, it’ll click on something far below or higher then where your finger actually was!! The worst part of all of this is the fact that they don’t even read any of these reviews! None of these problems have been fixed!!! So, to the person reading this I’d like to say, DON’T WASTE YOUR STORAGE ON THIS APP!!!!Update: So for the first time ever, a few things were fixed. Luckily enough, I actually did get a response, and they have fixed a few bugs and added a few new features. HOWEVER they still need to fix a lot of things and add more features

    Developer Response

Hi there. We suggest you refresh the app: Settings - Slides - Background App Refresh. Also, thanks for sharing your valuable feedback. We'll pass this along to our team. Appreciate it!

  • Accessibility with VoiceOver

    Dryatofa

Great program as far as features are concerned. However, as a VoiceOver user, I have some concerns. When I create a presentation, and try to type in the center title area, or anywhere else, I cannot seem to type anything. There is no real text field to type in, and the cut and copy actions are not very useable. VoiceOver will anounce what the cursor is on, for example, slide 1 center title, but if you double tap it, which is the VoiceOver command for clicking it, it does not activate for me to type in. I can select and unselect it. I have tried using a bluetooth keyboard, an onscreen keyboard, and a braille display, with no success. I cannot seem to be able to swipe or arrow through the areas to type in correctly, or type or add anything with VoiceOver. I also do not see any accessibility settings that I can use, so I am wondering if some can be added, or a separate app can be created, as Drive, Docs, and Classroom are all accessible, but nothing else seems to be. I do not have the answers to everything, but there are other sources. At the moment, the only slide show program accessible is Powerpoint on Windows XP. Me, and many others would really benefit from being able to create presentations, especially in education, and work. If this becomes more accessible, I will be more than willing to promote it on accessibility forems, or discuss it with people looking for accessibility in different software. Also, I really appreciated the HTML view option for slides, you can kind of read a slide show with a screen reader, but the kinks have not really been ironed out, and the text view is much more helpful. Thank you.
