Id have to say the biggest thing on here isn’t bugs it isn’t bad graphics it has to be NO BACKWARDS LANDING. I understand that we have to make the game difficult but that’s possible in real life backwards landings and also when the screen shifts to let you ride on a wall should be taken out very unrealistic and doesn’t really “fit the game” seems like this is like a skate game but mobile but it has a lot of good options for tricks (given there should be more) but there could always be more id like to be able to land backward and also not get stuck going forward when I just missed a landing it shouldn’t fast forward me to the next spot or jump id like it to go back to where I was so I can try again WITH ADEQUATE VELOCITY sometimes it has me try the same jump again but right in front of the ramp I need more time to hike up the speed ya know other than that this is a solid game and a great past time for us who are used to playing with TECH DECKS👍 thank you but please FIX THESE PROBLEMS

  • Great but needs improvements

    Davon Jae

The game is great and comes with a ton of customization and bikes and accessory options but there is a ton of room for improvement. For starters some of the challenges seem impossible to complete simply because the controls are fairly jittery but the touch responsiveness is pretty on par for what you would want from a fingerboard/bike game. Added more ways to earn points like time trials or score goals or other game modes would help a great deal in providing replay value. Another user pointed out adding the ability to land backwards like riders do in real life would be a great addition as well!

  • Way too finicky

I’m updating my review after the developer’s response. It’s good to see they are actively taking feedback, and hopefully implementing it. Great potential here ———It just crashes out the bike way too fast. Developer would do well to have an expert mode and an easy mode. You barely hit a pole on the side and it crashes the bike. To make matters worse, it forces you to the next ramp when you crash. I feel like it would be better if it started you where you crash, not up a bunch. It makes the gameplay choppy. Lastly, you can’t land in reverse, which you could in real life. So the reverse tailwhip I can achieve, but can’t land it backwards. The ramps are too small to pull off multiple tricks. And if you find a decent ramp and crash, you move forward on board.. annoying It’s a really beautiful game, and I like the music so far. I’ve had moments of fun, but then crash too easily and lose the rhythm and enjoyment. A sensitivity control would be helpful as well. I could see myself getting really into this if it was more mindless and easy. And if I wanted to be hard mode, that would be up to me to decide.

Thank you for such a detailed write-up. Great to hear the visuals and music land. On the bike crashes: The game opens up as you progress, with bigger ramps and longer lines in the later locations. An easy mode, a sensitivity setting and backwards landings are all noted for the team. If you want to go deeper on any of this, write to us at support@illusionlabs.se.

The game is pretty solid as it is but could be better. Would love to see more customization and more tricks. The controls are hard at first but feel super smooth and rewarding once you get the hang of it.

  • Best game ever

    Pizza ready I love

I like this very much first because you lose your two finger cause they give you tips on how to do stuff so you can but I don’t know how to do a 360 but still I don’t think it’s a tip but I really like it

This game is amazing! It is so satisfying to land the tricks while you are playing, just an overall fun experience. I totally recommend this game

  • Okay

    Sowysos

The controls are hard to get used to. So can you please add a joystick and buttons

Phản Hồi Từ Nhà Phát Triển

Thanks for sticking with it! The two-finger controls are what makes Touchgrind feel like riding a real bike, so a joystick is not on the cards, but we hear you on the learning curve and keep working on making the first rides easier. If there is a specific move that will not come together, tell us at support@illusionlabs.se and we will help.

  • Its pretty good

    Finn Miller862

Very fun game i recommend to bikers but the controls are not perfect

Thanks for the review! We'd love to hear what you'd change about the controls, a line to support@illusionlabs.se goes straight to the people tuning them. Keep shredding!

Good because do you know how to ride a bike it is but on a phone.

Phản Hồi Từ Nhà Phát Triển

That is the best way to put it, thanks! If you ever want to tell us more, we're at support@illusionlabs.se. Keep riding!

  • Fun but buggy

    Jackalorian

It’s a lot of fun I like the game. It’s just that it just does random tricks at random times causing you to crash

Phản Hồi Từ Nhà Phát Triển

Great to hear you're enjoying it! Tricks are triggered by finger gestures, so a quick flick or a lifted finger mid-air can set one off before you meant to. Keeping both fingers planted until you're ready to pop a trick gives you much more control. If it still feels unpredictable, send a short description and your device model to support@illusionlabs.se and we'll take a closer look.
