Mini Football Legends

After the most recent update, there are still several in game achievements as well as Game Center achievements that are not registering. Three examples out of several are: Acquire an epic player, rare player, legendary player. Other than that, this game is fantastic! Please fix the above bugs.Would love to see Mini Basketball Legends come to Apple Arcade.
I enjoy the game but some mechanics seem random. Like yellow carding for example I will do a slide tackle from behind and I will get a yellow card. But when the AI slide tackles from behind they almost never get a yellow card it feels. It may just be observation bias but the AI rarely ever gets a foul or yellow cards for the exact same things that get me yellow cards or fouls. Which can be frustrating. As well I left the game at one point and when I went back in I lost about half my data and was back at the progress I was when I had last opened the game. So the autosave seems a bit broken as none of my data was saved and I played like 20 games. Those games are just gone. I don’t know how the game saves data but it either needs a better autosave or a manual save button just to make sure it saves.
I love the game. How did you developers make this so fun?? I’m in the hard mode still have not lost. And there was a game I played and I scored 9 - 0!!! Thanks for making this game fun and easy to play!!! For people who don’t have the game don’t listen to the reviews that is like “this game should fix this or fix that!” Everything is perfect and there should be no changes that could possibly make the game not fun! For people who don’t have the game and are reading this review I would very very very much recommend this game
If you’re looking for a brief time waster, brain reset, it’s works just fine. Clearly, it was programmed by folks who never touched a football, though, as the team mechanics will leave you scratching your head. And why does the control player not automatically switch to the one closest to the ball? That gets incredibly confusing as you think you’re doing something useful but, in reality, you’re moving a player not even visible while the programming does its “never-seen-this-before” routine.
The game runs very well on an iPhone 17 pro and works great with my 8BitDo Pro 3. Few observations so far. Foul logic seems fully random. Blatant slides from behind are rarely called but seem more frequent from the side and front. Whether it’s a foul or yellow seems random. Player metadata and icons associated to each card is difficult to intuitively understand. Player stats like shoot, pass, etc is obvious along with the card overall rating. If a controller is connected, it would be great if in-game on-screen controls could be hidden. I cannot figure out if the difficulty setting does anything to rewards or provides any perks when difficulty is high or maxed out. A simple FAQ resource for this game would help a ton.
1. Played on AppleTV with controller but reviewed on iPhone. Couldn’t LEAVE REVIEW without downloading to iPhone. 2. In Tournament screen cannot unlock Imperial Champion Cup despite winning league one three times. Wondering if it’s because I chose to play in Italy not UK and you can only unlock in UK because the trophy is called something different in every region. 3. Tested theory in point two by creating a new career. Creating a second career would not advance beyond “training.” Also wouldn’t let me quit out of training, so I had to restart AppleTV and delete second career. 4. Gameplay is okay but like other similar games, the “difficulty level” is BS. It’s EASY or NORMAL unless it doesn’t want to be. By example, a team can cruise through a Global Cup until a semi or a final then all the sudden the same team you’ve been using for 8 straight games dominating at four goals a game can no longer get one shot on goal against a team that is equal or less in overall skill. 5. Mini Games screen is a great example proving the point about difficulty level. The Lucky Shot screen comes with no tutorial and even when you figure it out the joystick control is inconsistent. The Challenge screen is ridiculously impossible and the rewards (compared to just playing through a career on Easy or Normal) are not worth the effort. One star for making me download it twice to leave a review. Two stars in current condition. That said, this game is a 3* game if bugs are fixed, but won’t ever be more than that. Once you win all the trophies and all your players are maxed out, it’s pretty much over. Fun for killing time on the weekend but nothing I’d log hours on.
The game is mindless, which is typically what I want when I play a game on a phone. I don’t see the point to having a bench in this game. Players don’t get injured. There is no multiplayer, which is true to most all Apple Arcade games (I think?). The game would be much better if you can play a live opponent. I don’t like how when you switch players in the game, you don’t get switched to the player closest to the ball. A lot of the “opponents” are faster than you, and I feel like the only way to win is to be consistently close to the ball. It would be cool if you can pick or design your home arena. Maybe? There are two mini games and they’re not great. I feel like each player having some sort of super move/power would add to the game. It’s a mindlessly mid game.
Easy to pick up but tough to sustain. The game controls are intuitive and interface is solid. The dynamic of auto-losing the ball to the other team if you are near is different than any other soccer game I’ve played. The career mode becomes an absolute grind as you have to play each game and play 46 matches each season. The other modes only play once a day, so we will see if that makes it more interesting after I play a few days. The difficulty settings don’t seem to have much effect until you go to very hard. I beat first 4 settings by 6+ goals then lost at final one. Finally, an FAQ would help with little questions like what color each tier
I played this game for weeks, it was very fun but the lower difficulties were no longer challenging. At my current difficulty I kept track of ref fouls / yellow cards and goalie saves (as you have zero control over this). My goalie is an 84 overall for reference. Goalie saves for my team 10% of the time, opponent team goalie saves my goal kicks 70% of the time. So I need 7 more attempts on goal to even tie. Refs call a foul or yellow card on my team 30% of the time, they are called on the opponent 5% of the time. All data is based off 20 played games. End of the day, I’m done playing. Turning up the difficulty should only be improved players I’m facing. It should not just rig the game strongly in the opposing teams favor with bad calls and way better goalies compared to your team.
Getting the feeling for the standard way the buttons flow doesn’t feel correct and should be adjustable not only on screen but placement. Top left bottom right (where they sit) but also switch for some reason doesn’t work for my thumb…honestly, where sprint is, is where my thumb thinks switch should be. Adjustable buttons is the big reason for my review. The game is great, the mini games are eh and the comeback type games seem off difficulty wise…also, why only 3 a day….if it’s going to be that hard, make it 10.
