I started using Luma for personal use, then started using it for specialty events for a staffing company. I appreciate that it’s highly customizable and you can make a branded calendar of upcoming events, and folks can land on THAT page rather than just individual event pages only. I also like that you can add tags to differentiate between the kinds of events you’re hosting at a glance for the audience and yourself.

I am having a great problem free time with this. Sobriety is something that is important to me and having something that is easier even with it being something as small as this helps, I’m used to everything going against me including my phone. So thank you. It is nice that all I have to do is accept and I’m invited and I don’t have to go through a bunch of phases in order to get to the video with Brad Holt. Thank you.

The interface is great! I’m excited for it to get better and have more events! I do wish that the search was a little easier to use because you can’t search for specific events so it’s kind of hard to find them. I also wish there was better browse feature of seeing all of the local events instead of only by topic and I could search based on location instead. Overall amazing and I think it’s gonna keep getting better!

This is such a user friendly way for people to register for community events. I run a weekly hyper local show and it’s always a pain to get a head count / distribute info etc. I no longer have a million texts the day of an event and I can easily notify attendees of any changes etc. Super helpful. I never write reviews. But this is a great tool.

I discovered Luma after attending a local developer meetup in montréal. I use both Meetup and Luma to find local tech/AI events. I find Luma is more curated and has more local events. I also find that Luma has more paid events ( I don’t mind paying a small fee is an event is curated and there is food). For a 5 start rating, I’d like to see a native ipadOS app, as I use this app on both iPhone and iPad Pro.

I absolutely love Luma I started a run club about a year ago, and we’ve been trying to find an effective way to get our nonprofit organization out there and Luma from the ease of being able to add it to the calendar to the aesthetic of the app itself to how effective it is and actually getting people to gather and cross network I’ve used it to host events and also go to fundraising and AI events and I absolutely love it. If you guys are looking to sponsor a run club or a Founder, I am here! Either way love what you guys have created for us.

Please fix the location setting, currently the location is auto detected and it’s wrong, when I am in NJ I want to view events in NYC but I got auto detected to be in Dallas… please help fix this, and also add a save feature, it’s frustrating to only be able to view not save, and send reminders to hosts to apply people, some never approves… otherwise the app is great for finding events and I enjoyed it so far when it works

I think luma is manifestation of post labour economics! It is pre AGI. Because when AGI comes and no one has jobs and no one has to work we still have to do something! It is that - luma allows us to come together, have a good time, talk about the future! Luma is an app for managing your 2000 friends. It is like a church! I go to luma events every day! I am a luma queen🤪I live only for luma events! It gives me friends and even lovers! I met so many boyfriends on luma! Please, come to luma and you will be all set for life! Thanks to creator of luma! The app is very sleek and modern, but there are some key aspects that should be added to make it more functional. I’m hoping that this app will eventually replace Meetup, which is very clunky and outdated. BUT They should add a “SAVE” option for each event, where you are simply saving it because maybe you don’t know if you can attend yet. Even meetup has that function. There should also be an option to say “interested” or or “maybe”. There should also be a MAP option, where you can look at a map in the app and see what events are near you in the timeframe you choose- Such as the upcoming weekend. Will update my review if they add some more functions.
