TLDR: made an account, bought a number that didn’t work even once, and after canceling subscription and deleting account , they continue to charge me every month Downloaded the app and paid for a number. After 2 days of the app not working. Was told that servers had been down due to hacking attack. A week later I was told service was still down but I could get refund. So I got refund, turned off auto pay, and cancelled account. Imagine my surprise when a month later I am charged again. So I message the support and they say they will refund again but a refund never comes because my account info can’t be found. So I have my bank cancel the charge for me and ask them to please delete my payment info from their system so I stop getting charged. They don’t respond and the next month I am charged again, have to have my bank cancel )again) and this time I have to freeze my card so they can’t continue charging me. Basically they don’t offer anything of use and take your money regardless. Find any other service or pay a little more for one that will actually work. Just don’t use this one.

Absolutely unacceptable. I had two active numbers, and both of them suddenly stopped working without any warning. Customer support was completely useless — hours of messaging and they solved nothing. When I purchased the numbers, they were advertised as “permanently valid”, but in reality that is absolutely false. Once the numbers stop working, they simply tell you to buy new ones again instead of fixing the issue or taking responsibility.This is not a service — it’s a continuous money-grabbing trap. They provide no real technical support, no solution, no compensation, and no accountability. If you expect reliability, do NOT waste your money here. I purchased a local number for one month, after arriving in Poland. They took my money and gave me a number. But the number would not work. Only then I was informed by the system that a verification is needed, including my personal data and ID. I checked out developers and it appeared legit, so I sent a copy of my US driver license. Crickets. I tried to ask for a quick turn around and was then told they need 3 days to verify and they need some other ID. What? I cannot even make a local call to order taxi. Then it turns out the money I paid does not really buy me much calling. There is a separate charge per call and text. Those were hidden during the purchase process. You have to know where to look to find that information. Bad business, not at all transparent. And I cannot get my money back. Oh well… not doing business with this company again.

All I can say is that l've had nothing but good experiences with this app. My wife and I have used both the Asian and European eSIM offered by Nomad and it has worked brilliantly, and is quite affordable relative to most other options. Furthermore, the user interface is easier than some and their instructions for use are clear and easy to follow. Best of all, their customer support has been almost immediate, to the point and effective. They even followed up to thank me after I let them know that a minor issue had been resolved with their kind help.

I am a real person from the USA using this in my own country to test it out. So I did everything in the set up and I got connected instantly. I connected to T-Mobile and it was working! But I also manually clicked on AT&T as a network selection and that worked with 5G! On Airalo, I only could get LTE on AT&T. I did both of them with global plans. Price wise Airalo is better and more reasonable but they both have their ups and downs. Do your own research and testing, but this esim app is a must! Just know it is a bit pricey for some countries so be aware of that.
