I have been trying to find alternative options for ibis paint and sketchbook and stubbled upon this masterpiece of drawing app I like how simple it is to use and the many free brushes but I would prefer the app to have more layers in the free version because it only allows like 8 layers and one of the number one reasons why my artist friends haven’t downloaded this app yet is because of the restrictions in layers

by far the best drawing app I've ever used.they give you a good amount of time to try out all of the features for free, and even when that time runs out you still have the essential tools to still enjoy drawing with it. all of the different brushes and the way the bucket tool works are my favorite things about this app!try it out for yourself though! I don't have any complaints yet but I've only been using this app for 2 months, and it's been really good so far

  • Honestly Great app for beginners

I love this app SO MUCH like it’s not even funny, now the only thing I ask which would make this app even better than it already is is to add an animation feature and if they do add this please, make it accessible actually good too and that’s the only thing I need in my life right now THE ONLY THING nothing else needs to be changed I just want an animation feature it would make my day and my life.

  • Very good!

I’m not a professional artist by ANY means, but I do like to draw a lot, and this app is perfect for me! It’s easy to understand, large selection of pens (and if I’m not mistaken, all of them are free, but I could be wrong!) there IS a premium version but you only have to buy it once and it’s very cheap (I think like 4-6 bucks?) on top of that, the app is still very useable without the premium.

Still the best. Clearly designed for creatives; nothing feels like it's helping you instead of getting in your way quite like Painter. It rides a sweet spot for illustrators while still providing nuanced design capacity that has had me coming back for I think around five years now.

  • Fantastic potential, but could use a performance boost

Fantastic alternative to Clip Studio Paint and Procreate for comic/cartoon style artists on iPad! There’s a lot of great features, but here are the big ones:- Works offline! (CSP please take notes)- Great selection system including color gamut select (Procreate also take notes)- Pulled-rope stabilizer!- Lasso fill is built in, with solid and textured options- Export supports .psd files to preserve layers, so you can pick up work on another device- Great variety of brushes and textures - Trial version lasts a week if you’re on the fence about purchasing all features, but even then a one-time $10 price is more than fair That said, I think this app is in dire need of a performance patch. I know some features are more memory intensive than others, but I seem to regularly crash the app on a 5th gen ipad air with >20 layers on a 4k canvas. Clip Studio Paint ios, for reference, has given me memory usage warnings, but I’ve had yet to have it outright crash on my device, and that program is notoriously bad at utilizing modern device specs. Now this isn’t unworkable, seeing as auto-save is very robust and I rarely have issues picking up where I left off pre-crash, but it is a little jarring and interrupts my flow.

The best drawing app I have ever used. I’ve only tried the free version which has tons of options and I’d say the paid version is worth it too. The only issue I’ve had was I’ve lost a project or two due to a corrupted file somewhere. It warped my multiple hour drawing and couldn’t go back and fix it. But has only happened maybe once the other times I hav been able to recover, due to the saved progress option. Love this app so much it’s the first download I made when I got my iPad.. in fact, part of the reason I got my iPad was for this app. A lot easier to draw on a tablet than a phone!

  • More Functional Than Others...

I have recently gotten back into using Infinite Painter in my explorative workflow, and the more I use it, the more I find features that I wish existed in other digital painting/design apps. The array of tools available as well as a relatively simplified interface offer exactly what I am looking for in a digital painting app. It could use an update as some features can be a bit buggy when the layer stack gets bigger. All in all, this is a sleeper, and I hope its support continues. It'd be a worthy competitor if there was a desktop version - just saying... 😉

This art app is wonderful and very easy to use. It has a lot of great tools that help you create amazing artwork, even with the free version. The basic features are high quality and give you plenty of options for drawing, painting, and designing. There are extra premium features available if you choose to pay, but the free tools are already very good and more than enough for most users. The app runs smoothly, has a user-friendly design, and makes creating art fun and enjoyable. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves making digital art.

  • I LOVE this but-

Honestly, This is a great app to do art on and I absolutely adore it! But a huge issue I have with this app right now is that I recently switched from Samsung to IPhone, I redownloaded the app and signed in again but my past artwork is not there at all- Which I was really (Still quite am) upset about because I worked hard on the pieces, I didn’t know that you have to upload it to your drive or something but now I can’t upload it from my Samsung and save it on here because I don’t have the Samsung anymore, If you could fix this I’ll rate 5 stars and I’ll be insanely happy!
