See what changed between two texts Compare • Paste two versions or open them from disk, and TextLab lines them up for you. Added, removed and edited lines are colored, and the words that actually differ are marked inside the line, so a one word edit no longer reads like a rewritten paragraph. • Side by Side gives you two columns in the style of a classic diff viewer. Fold away everything that stayed the same, then step through the changes one at a time. Tell it to ignore case or whitespace when only the wording matters. Copy the result as a standard diff for a commit message or a code review. 31 tools in the Services menu • Select text in Mail, Notes, Xcode or any other app, right click, and run a TextLab action on it in place. No window switching, no copy and paste. Find Misspelled Words • Checks your text against the system dictionary and returns every word it does not recognize, with line numbers if you need them. Search actions • A search field now sits above the action list. Type a couple of letters and go straight to the tool you want instead of scrolling through all 60. Cleaner conversions, faster on large documents, and a long list of fixes for the text people actually paste. MARKDOWN TO PLAIN TEXT, REBUILT • Numbered lists keep their numbers. Nested lists keep their indentation. • Code blocks stay exactly as you wrote them. Tables become tab-separated rows you can paste straight into Numbers or Excel. And the stray backslashes and escape characters that Markdown editors leave behind are finally gone. WINDOWS FILES SIMPLY WORK • Open a .txt written on a Windows PC and Trim Spaces, Remove Empty Lines, Sort Lines and Add Prefix used to quietly do nothing at all. Every tool now handles it, and your file keeps the line endings it came with. DATA TOOLS IMPROVED • JSON formatting preserves your numbers exactly - 1.10 stays 1.10 - and tells you the line and column when something is wrong. CSV handles quoted cells containing line breaks, spreadsheet exports, and rows with more columns than the header. YAML keeps your structure instead of re-indenting it. FEWER SURPRISES • Spell Out Numbers skips phone numbers, version strings and codes like 007. • Timestamp Converter no longer rewrites long ID numbers. Dates follow your language but always use the Gregorian calendar and Western digits. Smart quotes open the right way after a bracket. BETTER SERVICES MENU BEHAVIOUR • When a conversion has nothing to change, TextLab now leaves your selection untouched instead of replacing it - so formatting survives in Mail, Pages and Notes, and you keep your undo history. ARRANGE MODE • Switching between Lines, Blocks and Sentences now keeps your edits. • Deleting a sentence no longer merges two paragraphs, and Remove Duplicates leaves your paragraph breaks where they were. FASTER, AND STEADIER • Large documents process in a fraction of the time. Several conversions that could freeze the app on unusual input now finish instantly, and Workflows no longer stop halfway when a step has nothing to do.

Cut, Copy, Paste, and Select All Are Back • The Edit menu was overriding the standard editing commands, which took their keyboard shortcuts with them. All four are restored and work as you expect. Clear Editor moved to Shift-Command-Delete so it no longer collides with deleting to the start of a line. iCloud Sync • Your workflows now follow you. Build one on your Mac and it is waiting on your iPhone and iPad, kept current in the background. Your favorite actions, hidden actions, and editor preferences come along too. • Settings shows you where things stand: when your library last synced, and a plain explanation if something needs attention. You stay in control with a switch to turn syncing off, and an option to remove your synced workflows from iCloud. • Your text stays private. Every transformation runs on your Mac and is never uploaded. Sharper Text Tools • We went back through the transformation library and fixed the cases that were giving you the wrong answer without saying so: • Title Case keeps your line breaks instead of collapsing the text onto one line. • Remove Emojis now catches the ones it used to walk past, including hearts, flags, keycaps, and skin tones. • Sentence case stops capitalizing in the middle of decimals like 2.5. • Markdown to HTML converts headings anywhere in the document and turns bullet points into real lists. • CSV to JSON keeps your columns in their original order and no longer drops a column when two share a name. • JSON to CSV covers every key across all of your objects, tells true apart from 1, and quotes headers that contain commas. • Hex and Base64 decoding report bad input instead of handing back nothing. • JSON formatting accepts a single value, not only objects and arrays. • Find and Replace no longer locks up on a complicated regularexpression. Workflows and Premium • Importing a workflow now tells you exactly why a file was refused, whether it came from a newer version of TextLab or uses an action this build does not have. • The Transform menu unlocks the moment your purchase goes through, with no restart. Plus a long list of smaller fixes across the editor, workflows, and settings.

Share Your Workflows • Workflows can now be exported as JSON files and imported on any Mac. Send a workflow to a colleague, post it online, or back up your entire collection. Just right-click any workflow and choose Export, or hit the Import button in the toolbar to bring one in. The format is open and human-readable, so your automations are never locked in. Smarter, More Reliable Editing • The action engine has been rewritten to handle rapid use correctly. Cancelling a parameter dialog and immediately running another action no longer causes conflicts. The workflow preview now updates smoothly while you build - it waits for you to pause before re-running, so the interface stays responsive even with complex step chains. Regex That Plays It Safe • Find & Replace and Extract Matches now include a built-in timeout. Patterns that would previously freeze the app for minutes return a clear error in under ten seconds. Your other work is never blocked. Accurate HTML and XML Formatting • The HTML and XML beautifiers now correctly handle attributes that contain angle brackets - a common pattern in templating languages and data attributes. Output is reliable regardless of how complex the markup is. Under the Hood • Workflow saves now report failures immediately instead of silently losing changes. • Toast notifications no longer race against each other when actions run back to back. • Switching between workflows is faster because data is loaded once on selection rather than on every render.
