A Must-Have Tool for Long-Term Mac Performance

It strikes an excellent balance between powerful system optimization and ease of use, making it suitable for both advanced users and people who just want their Mac to run smoothly without technical hassle.What stands out immediately is how transparent and safe it feels. Every cleanup or optimization step is clearly explained, nothing is done blindly, and you always stay in control. The Smart Scan feature alone is incredibly efficient, quickly identifying junk files, performance issues, and potential security concerns in one pass.Performance-wise, the difference is noticeable. After using CleanMyMac, my Mac boots faster, apps launch more smoothly, and disk space is reclaimed without risking important system or personal files. Not great, not terrible, too expensive for what it does

DO NOT RECOMMEND. I wanted to buy it for clearing my immense SYSTEM DATA, which was nearing 150 GB (a problem long time Mac users surely know of). If you are experiencing large SYSTEM DATA, this app will not help you much.. It saved me @ 10 to 15 GB. The rest of 100 GB I managed to clear from my System Data on my own, by showing hidden files and examining each folder in the User and the root Library. EXAMPLE 1: I found a 15 gb hidden file which remained from a previous installation of an AI model, which this almost 80$ program could not find. EXAMPLE 2: I uninstalled Microsoft OneDrive app through CleanMyMac, BUT a copy of the files on the OneDrive remained in my root Library file - non-useable data, since the app was uninstalled (taking about 80 GB). CleanMyMac basically did a simple DRAG AND DROP of the ONEDRIVE app into the Bin, without clearing the remaining 80 GB of data on the system. EXAMPLE 3: IT DOES NOT close processes running in the background, which IS A PROBLEM when you have already deleted an APP, like ADOBE CREATIVE CLOUD, but you keep seeing it running in the background. CleanMyMac will give you an error when trying to delete apps that have processes running in the background. CONCLUSON: You are better off opening the Library folders from time to time, review folders (including hidden folders) and delete them one by one.
