I was pleasantly surprised by how impressive Microsoft Edge has become. It’s the only browser I’ve used that seamlessly translates pages automatically, without needing to navigate through menus or manually refresh the translation each time. The interface is fast, clean, and user-friendly, making for a smooth browsing experience. After years of struggling with the poor reputation of Internet Explorer, Microsoft has truly redeemed itself with Edge. In terms of usability, performance, and features, it’s now ahead of both Chrome and Safari. An excellent app overall.
a good browser but sync issues plaque it

It is much better than Chrome and Firefox in terms of speed and UX, but recently I have encountered sync issues (sync regularly stopped working… ). I performed a sync reset, but despite a quick and flawless process, I encountered a typical “Microsoftish” one I remember from the old windows days (I have been using Macs and iOS devices for years and managed to forget that you may have sync issues…). After the reset Collections did not sync and I had to rebuild all of them (there were copy/paste options on Mac, but these did not work well either). In Safari (which I prefer for private stuff) that has never happened to me.[July 2022] Sync often stops working… I do not recall Safari ever stopped syncing…

Amazing but not good usability after update

Overall: amazing and definitely browser number one. Last redesign works good but new experience of returning last visited page before we closed browser is just bad. loading slowly and turning b/w page preview to color taking super long time. Just very bad to use. Another not good change is url area, way shorter with extra icons. missing X in the end to clear url input because of new icons. The rest is just great.

The browser has developed significantly over the past few years, and I’d like to give it a chance both on my computer and my phone. However, I’m very accustomed to using Safari on my iPhone, so I instinctively reach for the tabs on the right side of the screen. Because of this, it would be most convenient for me to have the ability to customize the icons on the bottom navigation bar. I’d prefer to have a layout that mirrors Safari.Additionally, I believe you should abandon the undoubtedly odd policy of forcefully pushing the browser onto users. For most informed users, this is likely discouraging, as people prefer having the freedom to choose rather than being forced to install specific software.
