Well there’s still room to improve, first of all would be nice if it would finally stop crashing randomly especially when internet was kind of weak and video didn’t start so it just closed the app because when you open it again it loads again fresh from start, other apps don’t need to do that and well I pay I demand last time I cancelled premium mostly because of that now it seems I’ll go to brave browser again as it’s pointless. Second problem is that on premium it doesn’t ask if you’re still watching? And while non premium answer from yet was “saving energy” so you don’t care about it when I have premium right ? Greedy greedy.

I’ve been using this app for a while now and can confidently say that it’s the worst app on ipad.I keep encountering various bugs, for example, if I watch a video on full screen, after a mid-roll ad the video will automatically exit the full screen mode. Or, when watching streams, if I change the ipad’s orientation, the comment bar in the chat will all of sudden get blocked such that I can no longer tap it to write messages.The ads are also a huge problem - not only the amount is absurd but their distribution as well. If you want to skip the video ahead, you WILL get a new ad, even if you just watched one. The ads play anytime you reopen the app, even if you return to a video you have watched half-way through. The app crashes quite often so the amount of ads just multiply beyond reason.The algorithm also doesn’t make sense. I keep getting recommended videos that I’ve already watched, or made by people that I have already marked as “don’t recommend”.Overall, no other app has ever made me as frustrated.

I have no idea if you guys even know what you’re doing anymore. I feel like every „innovative” idea of your employees are accepted and put in the app right away. The recomendation algorithm is a joke. My main page is only videos about things I never cared about or didn’t even Google for or bunch of videos I already watched a few years ago. The „Not interested” button doesn’t seem to do anything. Meanwhile the creators I like and wish to support are being muted and I have no chance of knowing they added a video. Refreshing the main page maybe results in putting some new boring videos from weird channels but leaves the recommended already watched videos on it. The video quality setting is still not as it was (a list of all available formats) although it was much faster and more comfortable, not to mention the dislike button removal… I sure hope for changes or at least some new rival website.

My beef with this app in the last 5-7 years is advertising. I accept adds on the free tier in general but the execution is just HORRENDOUS!1. It’s often impossible to enter the menu that allows to block an add.2. Blocking the add is VERY OFTEN A WASTE OF MY TIME - I will be seeing the same add in a few minutes. Google says other adds from the same advertiser are not blocked but that’s just a way to force the user into the paid tier. Now I think of this as extortion and will NEVER PAY. 3. The algorithm selecting adds for me is JUST FLAWED - I Keep seeing adds for pet owners although I don’t have nor plan a pet. Same for coffee machines. Same for fitness apps or ADHD apps. I know my phone is spying on me, eavesdropping every conversation so why torturing me?4. The WORST of all is when I suddenly start seeing adds directed at women - Make Up, Intimate Hygiene or the same adds as usual only now with female spin - I’m not LGBTQ and my Google profile is marked as MALE for almost 20 years so why Google, WHY?

App works great on my iPad Pro, but I found an issue where I can’t read replies to other comments than the first one. If I read discussion under comment one, then when I want to expand the discussion under comment no 2, it loads the comment one and discussion from the first comment instead... it’s really bothering me as I couldn’t fix it in any way.Also, a side note - when minimalising video to the corner of the app, it would be great if you could just swipe it away to close it. I didn’t see this option here but I feel as if it would be more smooth in use than just checking the box.

This is what I wrote after getting onto feedback page. Enjoy. “ The fact that you have put this button on the bottom is ironic, beacuse this way I can write what I feel about your recent interface changes. They’re very anmoying. I find it annoying that I have to go manually into the quality button, to change it from useless “higher quality” option to the manually selected highest rate of pixels. Why on earth did you make this change, every time I want to watch a music video, I have to go into the options just to click the feedback button, get annoyed then go back, and aggressively change it into my preferred supreme, higher quality. What are you getting paid for designers of this app, this change is absolute garbage.”

I wonder what do a human gotta do to enjoy fan experience on this app and help a favorite band without getting views deleted or frozen. It’s been years since I posted the previous review about the views for all BTS connected videos. It seems like putting the phrase “BTS” or any of the members names, gets a video shadow-banned. You can watch like a human being, without looping, but when a group has many fans, more than half of the views get deleted in real time IN FRONT OF OUR EYES, which is something more than just filtering, because they pace at which it happens is alarming. I’ve been using this platform less and less because of that, so I’m considering just deleting the app. It has more ads than anything else, anyway.

Are you insane with these ads? Every 3-5 mins?? I used to watch asmr a lot before sleep but now it is no point amymore cuz I would need to get up every 4 minutes to wait another 1 minute for them to end. A lot of asmr artists dont put adds on purpose but you are ruining that and it applies to any relaxing kind of video. Sometimes I wanna watch just some secs of video and waiting till ads end take longer than video itself. Ads when you play video, ads when you stop video, ads when you end video. At this point all this app it is just ads. Only ads in the middle of 3 mins music video are missing ✌🏻

The amount of advertisements is ridiculous, really! You’ll have to watch 2 ads at beginning but you wanted to see only ending so you navigate to the end and guess what, immediately you’ll have to watch another adds (10 seconds after first two). Finally adds are over, video is running but after another 10 seconds they put another two adds. So I watched 6 adds to see 24 seconds of video. It is getting worse every year. Time to find some alternatives. I get that there have to be some adds for ppl who doesn’t want to pay for premium but this is way too much.

This thing is VILE. The video recommendation algorithm is an absolute joke, I get nearly 30 second UNSKIPABLE ADS and the mobile search feature? Horrendous. The only things that come up when I search for a broad term are as recent as humanly possible ( no I do not have any filters enabled ) and I only get about ten videos, I can't search for more, but you know what I can do? View more " people also watched " that has nothing to do with the thing I searched for. Like I said, this app recently is an absolute joke and lately I can't even watch some videos because of the way its build. Fix. Your. App.
