I feel that, moving forward, Gemini is improving in terms of phrasing, contextual understanding, and so on. It is also excellent at providing meaningful insights for the future. Secondly, it goes beyond simple back-and-forth exchanges; it is becoming very similar to ChatGPT in terms of its conversational, personal touch. It is superior to previous versions for one key reason: it consistently incorporates a personal tone into its responses—such as making casual remarks about the time, even though that detail isn't strictly necessary. So, looking ahead, I hope Gemini continues to get even better.
Restrictions added constantly.

The amount of restrictions added into the filter is astonishing. To the point it’s becoming useless to even use gemini. Where the filter is actively trying to stonewall the user at every corner when it’s not even an NSFW context or anything remotely close. One wording can trigger the filter system and doesn’t tells you why. And can’t even edit changes because even that function is gone. Cant stay consistent,drift away from subject matter. At current rate it’s better be free user than a paid user since there is nothing to offer when system is actively trying to stonewall you. I’m a paid user btw. Would like to add, I have just cancelled my pro tier subscription as your restrictions are getting out of control. And Google is doing nothing to scale down the restrictions. Pointless to stay on pro tier when the system is continuously blocking you and Ai is giving generic responses. Thank you for being a useless app.

Currently, I’m testing several AI apps as companions in understanding certain topics.Gemini 3 is very good in mirroring my thoughts and able to enhance my ideas to make it logically acceptable.However, GPT tend to brush off most of my main ideas and reframing it in what it thinks is correct. It does not suit its purpose for me anymore. Unlike its predecessor model who helped me to understand s lot of things happening in this world. Sorry if this review seems weird, but I hope Gemini will stay true to its original design, to be a mirror to my thoughts…

The family plan is worth it. It's no specialist AI (and should not be) but it is a good generalist use AI that is also helpful to help accelerate things like provide and explain concepts, open doors to other learning while being smart enough to know that it is like that one smart friend we all have that knows probably more than us, but doesn't have that super specialist knowledge.
