Next Time now works in landscape on iPhone. Turn it sideways and every page opens out: the heading on the left, your notes on the right. And there's a new way to finish things. Drag across a note, left to right, and cross it out to mark it done. Plus a handful of smaller things, mostly around the keyboard, which now gets out of the way when you tap the page.

Due dates can carry a time now. Coffee at two, reminded at ten to. Tap a date to add the time, then choose when to be reminded: ten minutes before, half an hour, an hour, or a moment you pick yourself. The calendar and the time field are the app's own now, drawn in the same paper and ink as everything else. Type the time straight in rather than spinning a wheel to it. And Next Time is on Apple Vision Pro, built for the platform rather than carried over from the phone. Turns out paper and ink look rather good in mid-air.

Next Time now works outside the app. Siri can add a note, Spotlight can find it, and Shortcuts can act on it. - Say "add a note to Next Time" and it lands on the right person's page. - Ask Siri to add someone, mark a note done, or open a person by name. - In Shortcuts, a Find Notes action filters by person, kind, or date, so you can build your own routines without waiting for me to ship them. - Notes and people now turn up in Spotlight, so you can search from the home screen. If you would rather they did not, turn it off in Settings, under App privacy. Letting Siri in needed some guardrails. With App Lock on, Siri can write but not read. Capture still works, because the words came from you. Listing your people, matching text inside a note, and opening one do not, and Spotlight indexing switches off with the lock. Smaller things: confirmations now look like the rest of the app instead of system alerts, and adding a second person with the same name asks first.

Larger text now works the way it should. Set any text size in Settings and Next Time follows it, right up to the accessibility sizes, without anything running off screen or breaking mid-word. If something still looks wrong at a larger size, let me know.

Using Next Time on a big screen? Then this update is especially for you, because you can now get around without touching the screen. Use ⌘N for a new note, ⌘⇧N for a new person, ⌘F to search, ⌘1 and ⌘2 to move between Notes and People, and ⌘, for settings. ⌘⏎ saves whatever you're writing. Hold ⌘ on an iPad to see them all, or find the full list in Settings.

Thanks for remembering to update Next Time. If you need to remember anything else, just put it into the app and never forget.
