Fixes - Fixed a freeze that could happen when you scanned a receipt, or picked a file to attach to an entry, from a screen opened on top of another one. - When the scanner gives back a receipt upside down or on its side, Pockity now turns it the right way up before it reads it, and the highlights you tap to fill in a field line up with the words. This also works for a receipt you scan to attach to an entry. - Fixed a crash that could happen after you scanned a receipt on an iPhone without Apple Intelligence, or with Apple Intelligence turned off for receipts.

New - When you set up your first account, you can now pick its currency. It starts at your device's currency, and your first ledger uses the currency you pick. - The goals you pick from during setup, and in a ledger's settings, now show as a grid of widgets, with each goal's name and description below its widget. A picked goal has a ring around its widget. Improvements - Setup takes less room on the screen. Pockity's icon sits beside each screen's title, the title and description scroll with the rest of the screen, and the last screen shows your widgets centred under its title. A swipe down the account form puts the keyboard away. - Setup is now fully translated, and its sample widgets show your ledger's currency and names in your language. - When you open an entry, its close button is now in the top-left corner. An entry that opens on its own page, such as from Biggest This Month, has a back button instead. - The button with your ledger's name is now the same size on every screen. - On iPhone Duo, the buttons in the top bar and in the toolbar down the side of the screen are better arranged, and a budget summary in the entry editor no longer runs under the Close and Done buttons. New - Stand your iPhone Duo on its edges like a tent, with the outer screen facing you, and the home screen shows your budget left, what you've spent and what's due next, one at a time in large type you can read from across a desk. It moves on every 5 seconds, or swipe to change it sooner. - You can now pick a colour for an account in its editor, the same way as for a category. The first swatch goes back to the colour that comes with the account's type, such as red for a credit card. Improvements - On iPhone Duo, an account, category or recurring item that shows next to its list now stays on screen when you fold the Duo, and shows next to the list again when you unfold it. The Spending screen does the same with the category you picked. - A category you open from the Spending screen now starts at that screen's week, month or all time, so its total matches its card. - A category's colour and symbol now stick when you pick them without tapping Edit first. - New colours now show straight away. After you change a category's colour, edit an account, or move a recurring item to another category, their pages, their cards and the home screen's Upcoming card update at once. A category's new colour used to show only after you restarted Pockity. - On Apple Watch, the category budget widget shows what you've spent next to the category's name, with a pill above its squares that shows what's left, or how much you're over in red. It now uses your ledger's currency. The Budget Left widget fits inside its card, and amounts in the widgets and the Watch app's lists show both digits of the cents, such as $719.40. - Current accounts now have their banking name: Checking in US English, Chequing in Canadian English, and the local name in most other languages, such as Girokonto in German and Compte courant in French. New - Pockity is ready for iPhone Duo, with a layout that fits however you hold it. Folded, it shows two cards to a row on the home screen, and two entries to a row in every list of entries. - Unfolded, you can open two Pockity windows side by side and drag entries from one to the other, into another ledger or onto an account or category card. - Unfolded and held sideways, Accounts, Categories and Recurring show the item you pick next to the list, and the background blends into its colour. - The Spending screen does the same: its total, chart and categories sit next to the period's entries, and a category you pick shows its details in their place. They used to use your default ledger, even with another ledger open. - A broken link to a category, account or recurring item no longer makes Pockity quit. - The Import Receipt shortcut now saves your receipt as a draft. It could keep running until Shortcuts gave up, and the receipt was never saved. - In the Smart Add Expense shortcut, the account is now optional. Leave it empty and the draft goes to the account the message names, such as "A/c XX1234", or else to your ledger's default account. - The Recurring screen's search field now shows. It never appeared, so you couldn't search your recurring items. - In Chinese, the Spending screen now keeps the colours of the Spending card. A moment after it opened, it used to switch to the opposite colours. - Fixed wrong translations on the transfer screen and nearby, in several languages.

Minor bug fixes

New - The smart field in New Entry now highlights each part of what you type as you type it: the amount, what it was for, the place after "@", the day and the time, the account after "+", and the category after "/" in its colour. - The Pockity+ screen has a new design. The standard and Family options are listed together with their prices, so you no longer switch between them to compare. If you already own Pockity+, Family shows the lower upgrade price. - The Reimbursements category's page now shows the money that came in, with its total at the top and a chart of it by day. It used to show zero and a flat line. Improvements - The smart field reads amounts correctly in German, Dutch, French and English. "24,95 Kino" was saved as 95 €, "20 pizzas" was read as 8 PM, and "à 19h30" put the 30 on the end of the amount. - The Amount row now uses your language's decimal separator, such as "24,95". It showed "24.95", and editing it from there went wrong. - Transfers between your accounts no longer count as spending, towards a category's budget, or in its prediction. Paying off a credit card used to be counted twice. - Undo now brings back entries you have just deleted, with their tags, and puts their amounts back into your account balances. - A scanned receipt keeps the date and time printed on it, and goes into the ledger you scanned it from, in that ledger's currency. - Amounts in another currency now convert properly in a ledger kept in a currency other than your region's, such as a trip ledger in yen. The smart field also understands symbols such as "$40" and "€12". - In a shared ledger, an entry now shows who added it, with their photo from Contacts or their initials. - The Check Budget and Get Recurring shortcuts now ask which ledger to check and show their results. Expenses shows its total on a card, and Siri reads it out. - Siri phrases are translated into every language Pockity supports. Only Expenses answered to anything but English before. - Clearer wording in German, French, Spanish and Chinese, and the home screen's bottom bar now fits in French and Spanish. - Every editor zooms open from the button or card you tapped and shrinks back into it when you close it, Settings included. - Cards show a thin border in Dark Mode and whenever Show Borders or Increase Contrast is on, and expense cards show their shadow again. A daily item stopped after 100 days, a weekly one after about two years. - Choosing Repeat on an entry now makes it repeat. It used to close the editor without creating anything. - This Month and This Week now end on their own last day, so a chart no longer runs a day into the next month. - A category's total updates straight away when you move an entry out of it, and its chart updates as you edit its entries. - Category spending predictions no longer fail with a "rate limited" message shortly after launch. - Pockity no longer freezes while showing the ledger menu during an iCloud sync. - Fixed crashes when a ledger, category or account is deleted on another device while you are using it, and when closing a part-written new entry. - Fixed changes failing to save until you restarted Pockity.

Improvements - Widgets update again as soon as you make a change in Pockity, so they are current by the time you return to the Home Screen. - Pockity no longer repeats a small task five times a second while it is open, which saves battery. - If a photo can't be added to an entry as an attachment, Pockity now tells you why. Before, nothing happened. Fixes - Fixed a crash when you picked an account or category after the entry editor said something was missing, such as "No Account Selected". Improvements - Smart Add Expense now saves a draft in the currency that was actually charged. A message such as "USD 10.62 spent, available limit INR 998" used to land in the wrong currency. - Smart Add Expense recognises messages for your recurring items. When the amount and currency match and the item's name or card appears in the message, the draft takes the recurring item's title, category, and account, and is linked to it. Nothing is added twice if that day's entry already exists. - Widgets are now fully translated in all 22 supported languages, including their names, descriptions, and configuration prompts. - Siri and Shortcuts phrases now work in Arabic, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Malay, Tamil, Telugu, Thai, Turkish, and Vietnamese. - Dozens of labels that always appeared in English are now translated: the Shortcuts action names such as Smart Add Expense and Check Budget, the Move to Account and Move to Category prompts, the shared ledger messages, the JSON import and export rows, and the receipt scanning progress text. - Filled in the remaining English leftovers in Spanish, French, German, Dutch, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Italian, and Korean, from account types and settings to the Cash Flow and Biggest Spend card titles. - After you have saved a few entries, Pockity may ask once whether you would like to rate it. It never asks more than once per version.
