I booked international tickets from MMT, they gave me option to pay cash on delivery so I selected the same!! After booking was done, they sent me mail that your cash pickup will be scheduled soon!! I kept tracking the same on app again and again till next day but there was no information from them regarding when will the collection be done and who will come to collect. No information was provided from MMT, not on email not on phone, not even on app!! I kept waiting then suddenly 2 people came to my place and asked for cash!! That was shocking for me!! I did not have single information from MMT regarding their verification, who sent them etc!! I asked them for their ID, they gave me some third party ID so i asked them to leave as my husband denied to pay without any verification!! I contacted MMT customer service for that and guess what, i spoke to 4 agents for an hour explained my situation to each again n again but the only thing they kept saying is contact different department and there was no such department where I could reach!! And the worst, they canceled my booking saying cash not collected so cancelled your booking!! I mean seriously!! Did not expect this kind of behaviour and service from MMT.. Very unprofessional and disappointing.. I asked agents 100 times to connect me to someone who can help me with this but they didn’t even bother!! Please guys never opt for COD bookings and be cautious with MMT.. these kind of situations happen with MMT most of the times!! They promise something but deliver something. Rather book from other trustful websites!!

Pathetic Cab booking experience

There were 2 continuous worst cab booking experiences with MakeMyTrip 1. Cab to Airport failed to send cab: Have booked a Cab to Airport for early morning 3:45am and paid full amount ahead (2 days before scheduled time). Till 3:35am didn’t get can driver details and the status showing delay and asked to cancel booking. Not sure how people can cancel and book a cab at last minute that too early morning 3:35am and would have miss the flight due to this irresponsible MakeMyTrip guys. It was panic situation and have requested my friend to drop me at airport… 2. Out station Taxi failed to send cab: Have booked for out station taxi for 8:30am and paid initial advance a day before travel. Till 8:20am no response and at 8:25am got a message saying unable to provide taxi. And is a last minute change, due to this my tour got delayed and have to pay 3000₹ extra for booking another taxi. If MakeMyTrip is unable to run can/taxi booking services better remove the service instead of creating problems to the travellers. I strongly suggest to all customers take wise decision on cab booking and due to my personal experiences I recommend to use a prompt and genuine cab booking service vendors. Don’t want to give 1 Star but as there is no 0 start option, have mentioned 1 star.
Deduction of refund and no resolution

I booked a flight ticket last month from MMT. When I tried to web checkin, the airline website told me that my PNR was invalid. When I checked with MMT on this they told me that the airline has cancelled the flight, I’d be given my refund and that I should book a new flight with whatever additional price is asked. Up until this point, there was no proactive communication for a cancelled flight. I booked another flight at the same time and when I was at the airport, I saw the boarding for the earlier flight that MMT claimed has been cancelled. When I checked again on my refund, I was told I am not eligible for one because the airline doesn’t give refunds below a certain amount. After countinius escalations, I still got no response. I’d get calls from MMT and the moment I’d pick it up, the other would hang up and then later get an email saying I was unresponsive. All the requests that I had raised were closed without any communication or resolution. After a month, I received the refund with 30% amount deducted. MMT gave me a confirmation of a ticket that was never booked, when confronted they blamed the airline and accused them of cancelling the flight, did not resolve the issue and then ate up my refund. This company is the epitome of a corrupt and unethical business. Here on, I recommend everyone to not use this app for booking unless you want to be robbed.

Refund and booking through my wallet

I don’t even wanted to rate one star to make my trip, as far as i know one star is something we give to the very bad service. This is the worst app or service provider i have ever came across to.. I cancelled a flight after paying an amount and with the refunded amount when i tried to book another transportation, i failed to book. I was not able to use my own wallet money to book another ride. After reaching customer service i was just getting my problem transferred from one representative to another one. I am sorry to say but make my trip is the most pathetic service provider across the web.I lost my money and never got a solution by the company representatives.. i will not suggest this company to anyone.. if you want to save your money try get it done by somewhere else rather than getting cheated by this company.. the worst part was that i cant even transfer my money from wallet to my own bank account. None of the guy i spoke to in customer service had a clue to resolve my problem.. all they had to do was to transfer my call from one end to another. At last i would say that try the official sites of transportation to book your tickets rather than getting looted by this company.
