I recently travelled with Air India on my Frankfurt to Delhi flight, and I must say that the overall experience was genuinely impressive.What stood out the most was the exceptional guest service and hospitality. The cabin crew were courteous, attentive, professional, and welcoming throughout the journey. Their approach made the flight comfortable and pleasant, and it was clear that passenger satisfaction was a priority.The food quality was good, and the overall cabin ambience contributed to a relaxing travel experience. From the service to the in-flight experience, the airline delivered a level of comfort and hospitality that left a very positive impression on me.It is also encouraging to see how much Air India has been improving and upgrading its services. The airline appears to be moving in a very positive direction, with a stronger focus on passenger experience, hospitality, and overall service quality.For me, excellent hospitality is what truly distinguishes an airline, and Air India did a great job in this regard. I recently flew with Air India, and as a Maharaja Club Silver member, I continue to appreciate the sense of safety and comfort that comes with flying the national carrier. There is a distinct feeling of reliability when boarding an Air India flight that makes the journey feel grounded and secure.The Positives:The cabin crew remains courteous, and the overall flying experience is smooth. For frequent flyers, the recognition of membership status adds a layer of convenience that is much appreciated. I felt well-attended to throughout the duration of the flight, and the seating comfort in the cabin lived up to expectations.Area for Improvement:However, I would like to highlight a specific concern regarding the Economy Class dining experience. Recently, the quality of the breakfast served has been notably disappointing. The standards seem to have dipped significantly, with the meal quality falling short of what Air India usually provides. As a loyal flyer, I hope the management looks into the catering quality to ensure that the onboard meals match the excellence of the flight operations itself.I look forward to seeing these improvements on my next journey!
Infant name got auto corrected

I made a round trip booking using iOS app from DOH to COK. After booked the tickets, I found my infant name got auto modified which made me real headache to correct the same. I tried to add PNR in my trips, booking is not getting listed. Manage booking option is not there in the app. I tried using web application, but its auto navigating to the mobile app which is irritating. Other than this, I tried to send message via contact us for name correction. But a page ‘you are in landscape mode’ is blocking everytime when I tried to enter the details. Kindly correct all these basic things , then only a user can properly use the app.

Having flown Air India mostly international, it has been my practice to check fares on the website and then ask my travel agent to match the prices. This way I end up availing of their services without paying a penny more. Encouraged by their promo codes, for the first time ever, I ventured to book through the app. My response…..NEVER AGAIN! The app needs to be more user friendly. They could learn a thing or two from the Virgin Atlantic app, which I’ve also been using. All the same Air India remains my FIRST choice wherever available.This was my previous review. Today’s experience was a lot better. I realize that AI is making an effort to raise its standard of service in every aspect of the flying experience. My criticism is only to direct the airline towards this goal. Improvements are noticeable in most fields, however, a major stumbling block has been the lack of communication between various departments of the airline. Things that one can take for granted in any airline, have to be asked for in AI . For example, I have been religiously mentioning my “flying returns” number in every booking. I also confirm this at check-in. After three years of regular flying with AI, (my wife and I have the same flying record albeit on different PNRs). my wife recently got her Gold card. This prompted me to check my status. To my dismay, I found myself still stuck at the. ‘Red’ level.Six of my previous flights were not credited to my account! Adding insult to injury, my emails to Maharaja club only elicited impersonal automated replies about their policy. No mention of their own shortcomings!A better picture of this matter shall come to light when I get to review the maharaja club experience on TripAdvisor, later this month.
