Flipboard dying?
Gus-Hayabusa
Posting articles that require registering to every different magazine or site that publishes the article, really kills Flipboard. These articles have to be filtered out of Flipboard or else it will soon die because users are getting frustrated. Mobile Operating Systems are all about speed or else we would cary mini laptops with us and read stuff directly from sources via browser.Let’s hope the devs are reading user reviews...
Developer Response
Some sources on our platform have a paywall wherein they require a subscription to view their full content. Otherwise, you're limited to a certain number of article views per source. If you would rather not see content from these paywall sources, you can mute them. Tap ⋮, select "Less like this", then select the mute option.
Background process all time
eleftherios72
Hello your app is fantastic though there is a problem .. it works all time on background .. so it is eating battery even when I have disabled the background processes in settings. Actually even if they were enabled there is no option to disable only flipboard. (No flipboard button/switch)
