- Back up to a folder. Save backups to an external drive, a network share or another location in Files. Backups settings are clearer too, with a progress ring and a list of all your backups

- Recap stats. Every recap includes a writing heatmap, words, time spent writing, entries, days journaled, top tags, and top places. Year recaps also chart your words month by month
