Excellent value for a 256GB microSD card — I honestly was not expecting this level of performance at this price point. The Amazon Basics branding had me a little skeptical at first, but after putting it through its paces, I am genuinely impressed.

Speed & Performance:

The card delivers on its A2 and U3 ratings. Read speeds are consistently near the advertised 100 MB/s, which makes file transfers fast and smooth. I use it in my dashcam and security camera and have experienced zero dropped frames or buffering issues. The A2 application performance rating also means it handles app loading and random read/write tasks reliably.

Storage & Reliability:

256GB is plenty of space for extended video recording, photos, and app storage. I have been using it daily for several months with no data loss, corruption, or errors. It gets warm but never hot, even during continuous 4K recording sessions.

Compatibility:

It comes with a full-size SD adapter which is a nice touch — useful for transferring files to a laptop or camera. Compatible with a wide range of devices including smartphones, tablets, dashcams, drones, and action cameras.

Value for Money:

This is where the card truly shines. Compared to branded alternatives like SanDisk or Samsung at the same capacity, this card offers comparable real-world performance at a significantly lower price. For everyday use cases like dashcams, security cameras, or extra phone storage, there is simply no need to pay a premium.

Highly recommend this card for anyone looking for a reliable, fast, and affordable storage solution.

Was a little skeptical with the price of this at first, but it is a great micro SD card. Perfect for the DJI cameras. It allows me to record for about 12-16 hours of footage

Formatting was super easy as well!

Would recommend them, and purchased a second one!

I bought this Amazon Basics 256GB Micro SDXC card for my daughter’s Fire tablet, and it has been a fantastic upgrade. It was recognized instantly, installed without any issues, and provided plenty of extra storage for apps, games, movies, and offline content.

The performance has been excellent — apps load quickly, videos play smoothly, and there’s no lag at all. The A2 and U3 ratings really make a difference, especially for a kid’s tablet that gets used heavily every day.

The included full-size adapter is a nice bonus, making it easy to transfer files from a computer if needed. For the price, the quality and reliability are outstanding.

If you need extra storage for a Fire tablet or any device that supports microSD, this card is a great value and I would absolutely buy it again. Highly recommended!

I have cameras around my property, I have the option to use cloud storage from the camera maker, adding a DVR/HD, or install an sd card on each respective camera.

I found that there's always the potential that someone, if they are truly intent on doing it, will take the cameras, and if they make entry into my home or business, they'll steal anything of value, and a DVR/HDD/NVR almost always will be taken if found.

I keep most of my cameras (which are all webcam), most are bullet style, but I do have several PTZ, they are all wireless, but obviously have a power supply connected, and I have since started to only purchase solar powered, but have had marginal success with them, as those style of cameras are limited by where you put them (full-sun light versus limited limited line of sight with the sun). Ultimately, I prefer the sd cards, they are easy to install, are remarkably cheap, and to date, I have NOT had any fail prematurely (usually the camera, or it's power source/supply does well before any issues are observed by the sd card.

Originally I thought I had an issue with the sd cards not provisioning/formatting, but then realized each camera's maker has expectations on how the format occurs.

The number, and compatibility I have with this brand of SD card, and the overall life span leaves me a happy customer, and ensures I will continue to purchase these in the future.

Very happy

terrific value and a great purchase. Has alot of space and is always needed for the GoPro or camera.

Excelente

I purchased the Amazon Basics 256GB microSDXC Memory Card specifically for my Eufy home camera, and I am incredibly pleased with its performance. The read and write speeds are exactly as advertised, ensuring that my video recordings are smooth and continuous without any lag or dropped frames. It works perfectly in my camera setup right out of the box. Furthermore, my camera is mounted outside, and this memory card has held up flawlessly in the elements without a single glitch or data error. It is a highly reliable and cost-effective storage solution for outdoor security cameras

Ok
