A year of Championing Nature 🌱 Alongside Emirates, we've celebrated the first year of Championing Nature, recognising the people behind the programme and the impact of their work across the past year. 🌱 28,539 people engaged 🌱 865 sessions delivered 🌱 95% of participants now have a greater appreciation for wildlife in urban areas Championing Nature connects children, young people and families with the nature on their doorstep. The programme is a partnership between Wimbledon and Emirates, delivered with four urban Wildlife Trusts: London Wildlife Trust, Lancashire Wildlife Trust, Birmingham & Black Country Wildlife Trust, Northumberland Wildlife Trust.

Yesterday, Emirates touched down in Helsinki for the first time, launching the only year-round service between Finland and the UAE. Emirates’ new service unlocks enhanced connectivity to and from Helsinki, with smooth connections especially across East and Southeast Asia, West Asia and the Indian Ocean, Australasia and key hubs in Africa, the Middle East and the GCC and brings its signature product and outstanding service to Finnish passengers via the A350.
