A broad area of low pressure was forming in the central and western Atlantic Wednesday morning and the system could further develop, forecasters with the National Hurricane Center said. 

Hurricane forecasters continue to track a disturbance in the western Atlantic that is expected to form into an area of low pressure over the next day or two.
