2026 AGM
Dear Members
The Annual General Meeting of Saskatoon TechWorks Inc. will be held at 7:00PM on Sept 8, 2026 at 412B 44th St. E., Saskatoon, SK.
In addition to the typical business of our monthly general meetings, this special meeting will also include:
Review of the financial statements for the 2025-2026 fiscal year
Election of a new Board of Directors for the 2026-2027 term
The Receiving Officer for this election of the Board of Directors will be Braeden Leislar. He will be responsible for accepting nominations in advance of the election and accepting and counting the ballots during the election. He may be reached in person, by email at nominations@sktechworks.ca. Additionally, there will be a nominations box available at Techworks.
Nominations for positions on the Board of Directors will be open from now until 11:59PM Aug 28, 2026. In order for an individual to be nominated, the nominee must provide to the Receiving Officer a letter indicating that they have been nominated and that they accept the nomination. This must include the date of the nomination and the signatures of both the nominee and the member who has nominated them. The final list of nominees will be provided to all members no later than Sept 1, 2026.

Extra Monthly Meeting
In preparation for an upcoming AGM, we will hold a second General Meeting this month on August 18th at 7:00pm at the space. We hope to discuss details of the AGM.

Antenna Building Night
In collaboration with SaDARA (Saskatoon and District Amateur Radio Association) TechWorks is pleased to present an Antenna Building Night!

Join us for an evening of fun and learning as we build some antennas! This event will be focusing on 2m j-pole antennas. Material for twinlead jpoles will be provided. If you want to go all out and build one out of copper pipe, We can help you with that too! You will need to supply the pipe and fittings though.
Please register by Tuesday Apr 21st so we can make sure we have material for everyone.
Yes! We still exist!
Saskatoon TechWorks is volunteer run and we don’t currently have anyone volunteering to maintain content on the website. Yes, someone is still applying security updates. If you’re a member and want to post some exciting info about our makerspace, please let someone know and we can get you an account.
CNC Milling Class – Nov 9, 2024 1PM
There will be a class for using the CNC machine in the dirty room on Saturday, November 9 at 1 PM. The fee is $20, all materials are included. There is a class limit of 10 people, members or non-members, but everyone needs to register in advance by using this form so that we can get an accurate count.

Review of the financial statements for the 2022-2023 fiscal year
Election of a new Board of Directors for the 2023-2024 term
Approval of the proposed budget for the 2023-2024 fiscal year

be Mena Ryan. She will be responsible for accepting nominations in
advance of the election and accepting and counting the ballots during

Voting will be limited to members who are present on site.
